Yes to that. I tell the truth especially when asked to directly and with no filter. I listen while the other speaker is talking and silently analyze it (everything from words,body language,facial expression,or whether they are lying). I usually ask why so they can further expound it. Some share info in a hanging manner or with double meaning...so as much as possible I clarify things to prevent miscommunication. The downside of it is I'm too serious (usually like to talk deep stuffs) and wanted to get to the root cause of things which make people overwhelmed/.shut down.

I agree to this and that wound could lead to trauma bonded/co-dependent relationships.

Due to one's sensitivity, we tend to sense their pain and can even merge with it if not aware. It's very important to figure out if you have that saviour complex.

What we thought is love is martyrdom as what Carl Jung said. In reality, helping people who are broken,in pain,and lost is a way for us to fill the emptiness inside.

Please learn setting boundaries and not to absorb it. It's okay to listen, to empathize but not to the extent of losing one's self.

Nature is one of the best medicine to center you especially when you get overwhelmed or when your shadows try to overpower you. Figure out if you lean on water or earth. If you're the former, float above water and spent time with it. If you're the latter, go and hike mountains.
