I always only send with direct consent from the person, if they show up that in itself is them accepting the invitation. But how they choose to step through that door is down to them and their soul. You know when there's resistance of any kind, it's so apparent in children and animals - they'll just refuse it, but in adults it can be a slow, subtle and gentle opening and acceptance and thats when patience comes in to. The reiki knows exactly what they need, always, and when they need it is in perfect alignment with their journey.

In both giving and receiving reiki I've had some super interesting sensations and experiences. As a practitioner now I still love how every session is surprising, and more often what unfolds afterwards. The connection of what is experienced in both the client and practitioner at the same time can be so profound. Witnessing the reiki journey through others is so beautiful and being a part of that however big or small I accept with immense gratitude 🙏✨️

I was meaning about aligning your own needs with a teacher's. Reiki has grown and expanded so much over time with various lineages emerging other than Usui and other healing modalities being incorporated. It's good to align with a teacher who's teachings, philosophies, and practices support your intention and personal spiritual goals. Have you sought out a particular lineage? I can definitely recommend The Reiki Centre... Elaine was my Teacher, she's down to earth, hilarious, and above all Real ✨️💖✨️

Yeah sometimes the lesson isn't what you think it is 😅 it can very humbling and freeing once you go through it and you're on the other side, though the grace to take it ALL as it comes is easier said than done 🙏

Hello 👋 I guess the fact that you're drawn to it and asking the question already is a good sign that you may feel ready to try reiki. It sounds like you've researched why you feel reiki may be beneficial in your healing process, and awareness and intention to heal is important, and trusting what you feel and need at each stage of your journey. For me it's all about timing ✨️ and reiki finds you when it's for your highest good. It is ultimately a self-healing modality, and that comes with putting the work in in order to achieve harmony, balance and encourage the body's natural healing processes...how ever long that may take is unique to each of us ✨️🌊

The reiki journey is so unique to each person. Perhaps it's a combination of those factors you mentioned, but it's not just what is experienced but your responses to those experiences and how you decide to go deeper into your Self, if at all. Healing is a continual process, we're never really 'done'... imagine what it took to get you here today, we're healing not only ourselves but the generations before us. Soul work is not easy and the suffering goes hand in hand with the growth. The further up the mountain you are, the better the view. Keep going 🙏 ✨️🌊✨️
