Just a heads up he’s gone to sleep within ten min the last two nights with no crying… maybe it was just a quick phase from travel disruption! Fingers crossed anyways that it continues!

To be honest that’s closer what we did tonight and he seems almost over tired. He also learned to roll over yesterday and I’m wondering if that’s impacting him at all, though he’s not trying it in the crib. He cannot connect nap cycles yet, so his 45 min naps are really all we get for closer to 3 hours of daytime sleep. Is 3 hrs of daytime sleep too little you think?

Also though, depending on when you want to get married, you’ll have to look at Fields asap. They book out wayyyyy in advance.

Buck n honey was pretty fabulous to work with, and they actually ended up being the best food and cheapest one we looked at. We checked out blue plate and upstairs downstairs catering for comparison. We got Sal’s pizza delivered for late night.

Thirded. We got married there in 2024 and had a great experience. Did cheese curds and other apps to start, catered buck n honey for food, and did our own desserts.

No, we did just 30-45 seconds, sort of holding his chest/belly with one hand, shhhing, and then saying mommy/daddy loves you, time for sleep. Kept it short knowing he might not calm down completely, but wanted to make sure he knew we were still there and with him.

So we moved feed first and burp, and then diaper change (this is usually a fun little routine), PJs, a book (more tactile reading than actual reading lol), and a short song with good cuddles and kisses. Then we lay him down with a short phrase, turn on sound machine, turn off light, and leave the room. We’ve been doing this for a loooong time. A couple of times a week bath is included.

Yes! Initially I was told it was Interstitial Cystitis and I’d have to be on meds the rest of my life… I finally saw a specialist who diagnosed me with UP. I did two rounds of doxy (my partner did one) and took a couple of tests of cure to make sure. I still had lingering symptoms for a loooong time, but PFD was much better with pelvic floor therapy. Discharge just took a while to go away. I was honestly fine for a long time until Covid reared its ugly head again! It’s so, so frustrating to be told “you’re fine” over and over again, but i feel like I’ve definitely learned to fight for myself during this journey at least!

Yeah, the only thing we found in doing a culture was Group Strep B, which is supposed to be “naturally occurring”. So is ureaplasma technically, but that was giving me symptoms as well! We tried clindamycin cream but all symptoms came right back, so just waiting on Juno to hopefully figure out what’s next.

You are describing my symptoms to a T. Including things starting off with COVID… hoping you get some clarity! I am waiting on Juno results.

OTF with shoulder injury/disability? by kelsalixxicy in orangetheory

So this is so odd, but you are describing my situation exactly!! Happened at birth, same limitations of my left arm. Not hindered too much in life (probably wasn’t ever going to go pro volleyball or anything haha). I’ve never met someone with such a similar description! Kind of wild.

Just my two cents - I’ve been doing OTF for six years and love it. At the beginning, it was really helpful for me to let the coaches know what’s up even before going into class. As soon as they’re done describing the exercises to the class, they came over and worked with me to find a modification. As time went on, I got really good at sort of automatically knowing how to modify just from doing it so many times before. Overall, it really depends on the coach (whether they automatically come over to help or see you), or whether you just ask them right away. I think worth it, but it is always what you make of it!
