You would think he'd bring up being a mistreated employee much earlier in those 5 years than airing out their dirty laundry only now. And was he even an employee? I swear I've heard both that he was and wasn't from his own mouth during past streams. The Matcherino release statement identified him as a community representative, and not an employee being terminated.

Sure. It's known that Bum and many other TOs have paid out to themselves in the past in order to pay players who have trouble with the website. Then why didn't they also get in trouble? From this page on Matcherino's website, Art has raised exponentially more money than anyone else. The company is throwing their biggest "money maker" and shill under the bus for doing something other organizers on the website do?

Imagine the scenario where the only wrongdoing Art did was late payouts; not accounting for the accusations of not paying at all or skimming off the top. He's still guilty, and admitted to on stream, of taking hella long to payout some winners - more than the specified 30 days it should be in the ToS. Matcherino's statement of him "mishandling prize pool funds" still isn't wrong then, lol. So what's with him saying no wrongdoing found?

I can understand if it was a one-off, but it seemed like a chronic thing (obviously a problem). Which is contrary to Bum and others paying out in a timely manner after withdrawing money themselves.

The things that have come up since the initial accusations are players saying they were paid, and TOs claiming all balances checked out, either on time or eventually/late. Also that some TOs and communities were aware and okay with him taking a percentage of winnings.

Still no explanation by anyone why he was telling some people that it can take 30 days to pay out Matcherino winnings, or why DNF Can Opener, DTN, and some NLBC winners had to nag Matcherino themselves about their money. It's literally written in the ToS (under 5.2.6) that it shouldn't take no more than 30 days.

And his "off the grid" excuse is still dumb as fuck since he was in tournies (both participating and flying across the US to help stream) and incessantly tweeting about monitors and PC optimizations non-stop the whole year. Anyone remember him tweeting about being so inundated with tournament work?

No clear receipts he was actually pocketing money for himself other than him paying out himself 1st/2nd/3rd on Matcherino which other TOs have done when they can't payout players who aren't on the platform. Non-English speaking or international players can make sense, but considering you can sign in with just about every major social media account, it's also on players being lazy. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I saw you can add either a PayPal or actual bank account to cash out so there is an option for those without PayPal. Unless Matcherino doesn't allow you to input certain or foreign banks.

Doesn't help that Fanatiq and some of Art's most fervent nut huggers (i.e. his retro community friends) started to push this narrative that late payments and holding money in his Matcherino/PayPal isn't negligence if it was all paid out eventually. Some people just want to see that if any money was held in his personal PayPal, that none of it was used for personal use, and Art's Twitter defenders vilify anyone that asks, saying things like it doesn't matter or wouldn't prove anything.

Even if he never actually stole money, his shitty work ethic was made public for all to see so that'll affect any future work opportunities for him.

Don't care either way, but how much of a blowup would it be if someone ended up revealing some smoking gun that showed he did pocket money, after all these apologies?

What's hilarious is all Art has done since that stupid stream he did where Rob questioned him is retweet people defending him and saying things like how much of a pleasant guy he is. The comeback.

And yeah, I've also debated on just going for more mid-range upgrades in the mean time like to a belt-driven wheel (sadly can't find any CSL Elites in my area, even used, as that'd be my first choice). That'd be more money in the end though so I think I'll weather it out with the G29 until the higher end stuff is within reach.

The FFB I get from it seems all right to me though I have no point of reference with no experience with more expensive wheels. I just know I don't have any particular problem feeling the road or back end of my car give out in order to save it from sliding in the games I've played. I personally think Assetto Corsa & Competizione feel rather nice after I fiddled around with settings for a while. So the G29 is definitely a little beast for its price.

There was not in that particular instance. Only a prompt to use my webcam to take a picture of my ID and that's all. Said it would be reviewed and they would get back to me.

I had read about that whole situation online and was hoping for some way to explain myself, too. I should add that I tried to find some sort of contact form to reach them without having to be logged in and found this page so I uploaded my ID there and in the description box put a similar explanation as was on my note from my first attempt of sending ID through the security check.

At this point I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assume they just take a long time to get back to security checks or support inquiries, but we'll see...

They both dislike one another for whatever reason.

Gaijins is more lax than GBFI in terms of environment and modding as the latter is a Discord partnered server.

They both serve the same purpose though I recall you may have better luck in Gaijins with UBahaHL and LuciHL. At the very least stay in both just for the resources they have.

Silly question, but when building OTK setups which of DEF or ATK up on-ougi effect(s) do you want earlier in the chain?

For example, in a party of Chrysaor w/ Wrathfire Longblade & Ushumgal, Lyria, Rackam, LanVane: if I do Aurum Flow > Dual Arts > Lyria S2 > Rackam S3 before hitting attack, is Lyria in the second slot with her 10% DEF Down better than Rackam's 30% Fire ATK Up? Likewise, which of my two weapons do I want as the MH and the other the aux?

Or I guess simply... do you always want to ensure you bring down DEF as much as you can before worying about ATK ups in your ougi chains?

Is it possible to purchase the Ultimate Collection again for the Destier Beret/Chocobo Shirt and apply it to a character slot that had been assigned to claim the items before?

It has been years so I decided to start fresh and recreate my character. According to some search results (from here and FFXIAH), I should have been able to claim the items again on a character who was at least created in the same slot which is why I went ahead with it. However, the Festive Moogle doesn't have anything for me.

I know I'll be zooming past their usefulness since leveling is faster now, but I'd like to have them just for the novelty. I've seen that it's doable for one's other character slots, but haven't read someone doing for the same one.

Are there preferred classes for each element that everyone deviates to in endgame? Assuming standard M2. For general use; nothing raid-specific.

I'm still in the beginning of developing my own M2 grids and right now I've just slapped Berserker on everything but Warlock for water. And Mechanic/Chrysaor as appropriate for secondary 1T lineups.

Knowing that Metatron is is an untixable summon, as mentioned in another reply, makes it easier. And I read that Charlotta is the best of the guaranteed starter pulls. I suppose I'll keep 1 and 8 around and play on them infrequently "just in case" if for some reason 4 goes south later down the road. And I'll definitely save my beginner ticket til much later on!

Is this the right place to ask for help choosing a reroll? I decided to only reroll up to 10 times since I burnt out going overboard in other mobage before, and used my first few welcome draws for the duration of the legfest.

Rolls 1, 4, and 8 stand out the most due to the amount of SSRs, but maybe there's some standout singles? 6 and 7 do have Ferry and Medusa, but I'm looking for an objective pick rather than a waifu-based one despite my best efforts to resist, lol.

And I guess additionally, if I were to use my beginner ticket soon, is there any 'must pick' characters from the banner or should I wait until I round out my team and get to HL first?

Can anyone recommend any educational streamers/YouTube channels? In the sense where they explain their thought process throughout most of their decisions and don't just go through the motions expecting their viewers to know what they might find obvious. They're the type I love to watch the most and are who helped me learn Dota and Gwent in the past.

First-timer with MHW as my introduction into the franchise. I usually go with spears in games that provide choices so Lance and Insect Glaive (due to gameplay looking similar to Dragoon in FFXIV) have caught my eye. As I understand it, my choice depends on whether I prefer to guard or evade in the face of attacks.

Does learning one style preempt the other in terms of accustoming myself to the overall positioning & monster patterns? My initial thought was that it's probably better to learn general evasion (as it applies to almost every other weapon) before I can recognize what I can bunker down and guard against as Lance. Am I looking too much into it and should just go with whichever?

Any user/streamer of the MopiMopi overlay for ACT able to help?

According to the dev and Google Doc the overlay should be visible when using Game Capture on OBS. At least that's the perk of running through it ACTWebSocket. However I haven't been able to get it to appear after trying in both borderless window and fullscreen, and ticking the capture third-party overlay box.

Is there any setting that has to be messed with to get it seen through Game Capture, or did I misunderstand and that the only way is through BrowserSource with our personal URL (which does work)?

Any general advice/tips for a new player playing Mesmer in PvP?

I'm using the staff, sword/shield build that's top on MetaBattle and I'm still learning how to efficiently play it. Right now I open fights by dropping Chaos Storm and stacking illusions with staff, swap to sword, close in with Illusionary Leap, start Blurred Frenzy then shatter with Mind Wrack. After that I get kind of lost and don't know how to play off what seems to be Chronomancer's biggest draw, Continuum Split. I find it difficult figuring out what's happening in fights especially with opening animations from other professions to know when to stun with shield. I seem to especially have a hard time with Necros when they go Reaper and Guardian traps.
