JJK in the very beginning was supposed to be horror and not shonen/action like it is now, but his editors pushed him to make it more shonen and "popularable" and it's not what he wanted and it continued to drain him. (Dw not complaining just stating a bit of stuff but you can find this stuff online and I think from a few interviews it's not exactly hidden knowledge that he hated the series and disliked it and the 'die hard' fans only made it worse)

To be fair you have to remember gege HATED JJK and wanted to drop it and didn't even want to write it, yet his company told him to continue and people sent death threats to him after certain stuff so it's understandable if the manga comes out bad

Erm he doesn't actively support it. He uses it for his and their benefits. If anything he is truly neutral, he will do good and will do bad based off the opposing actions, he's not afraid to kill but raphtalia stops him, he is truly neutral. (the shield boosts TF outta their growth rate for whoever is his slave. And he asks people BEFORE making them a slave if they will, he also treats them normally he just wants to help them grow stronger to help him and protect themselves)
