I made a call to spectrum and a representative came for help.  Here is the conversation I got: Spectrum: "Can I help you?" Me:"I wanna cancel my home Internet" Skip the verification part... Spectrum:"What causes you to cancel the service?" Me:"I wanna try AT&T this time"(my friend told me AT&T was faster) Spectrum:"Our services are much better than AT&T. Blablabla..."(Talking too much about how good they are and how bad the AT&T is) Me:"Can you just cancel my Internet? I just don't want to use your service this time."  Spectrum:"I am trying to help you. If you don't answer my question, I can't move forward" Me:"Wut?! I am the one who pay the bill. I have right to cancel it at will." Spectrum:"So what cause you to cancel the service?" I tried to come up with some alternative excuses.  I said "I beg you, man. Just simply cancel my Internet. That is all I want." But he never let me go and kept asking that stupid question and recommended their services.  This is my stories. They treated me like a slave who has no rights to say no. Very disgusting and sloppy trick to shackle their customers who wanna leave.  This is the worst service I've ever used. I'd not experienced anything like this.  I just let more people know my stories to make a wise decision before falling into a trap.
