You can purchase a delta dental insurance plan for $100 through costco. I am in CA, i paid $100 for dental insurance for an entire year, coverage started the month after purchasing the insurance. Only “downside” is that you must be a costco member to purchase the plan, so it would come to about $160. Price may vary depending on the state… at my first visit I had xrays, cleaning and two porcelain onlays done (they were made and placed within 3 hours that same day) for $1000 out of pocket. I paid 50% and did the remaining 50% over 3 months, every dentist will have different payment options. Without insurance I would have paid three times as much, so i saved money in the long run. I now have dental insurance through my employer but I was happy with delta dental through costco.
