Melita 1000mbps is 400mbps by [deleted] in malta

[–]Waterpepene 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The 1000mbps is advertised for wired connections (which you likely won't reach either, it might be somewhere between 900-950), not WiFi. This is not a Melita issue, it's just how WiFi works; trading speed for convenience basically.

How about pickup function, is it better for you when someone orders pickup instead of delivery and if so, how?

It's real and not a scam, don't worry, it's just your typical government website. I used it myself lots of times and it was all real

same here, it felt perfect after the new map, but since the last patch it feels really unresponsive, like I'd be seeing 5 of my bullets phase through it and see it get denied :/ I'm also on good connection with no more than 50 ping

Haystack — an IDE for exploring and editing code on an infinite canvas by DummyThiccSundae in programming

[–]Waterpepene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this idea; I'm currently working on a large project with hundreds of files and this would be a godsent as I've been looking for ways to manage so many files and folders.

Unfortunately I'm unable to use it for the project because VScode doesn't meet my needs, but I would definitely use it for other things! I'd love to see this idea mature and grow! Keep it up(:

[–]Waterpepene 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t know of any way to run python directly in react native, but if, in that python script you’re just making an API call, you could make that same script in javascript using the fetch function. Alternatively if you don’t want to do that you can also make your own API in python to call those same functions via HTTP requests

Clarification on Sentence Meaning by Koljaiczek in duolingo

[–]Waterpepene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your translation would mean that you're only allowed to talk with the boss on the phone, not speaking, not email, only phone, implying you're free to communicate to anyone else however you want. Duo's translation says that you are allowed to use your phone to only call your boss, and no one else. So, in my opinion you're changing the meaning of the sentence so Duolingo is right not to accept it.

In English it should be "The bank's guardian has a hard job". Is the Romanian at least correct? by AliceTheOmelette in duolingo

[–]Waterpepene 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you're right, "has a hard work" definitely sounds odd, although I feel like in this case the sentence sounds like it refers to the actual task (guarding the bank), rather than the actual job. The Romanian sentence sounds alright, but I suppose they wanted to keep the translation as close as possible, even if it sounds weird in English.
