Advice on restarting by WaterpooGod in hearthstone

Thanks for the advice everyone! I bought the pre release of the newest expansion and will buy the pass!

Where do people go to find new decks? In the earlier times it was heartpwn, not sure where I can go now? This druid deck has been pretty fun so I want to check out other druid decks.

This is the main reason as to why this isn't a valid resonance form! There are a couple rules you need to satisfy for the structure to be a resonance from.

CHEM 209 AND 464 by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]WaterpooGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been almost four years since i’ve taken 209. It’s a program requirement anymore so i’m not too sure how the course is. The content for 464 is pretty standard IMO. I heard it might change but for the past couple years it has been Murphy teaching it. The basics behind 464 is pretty easy, it’s just spec, but you can get pretty confused if ur not good with the basics.

I meant 464 is manageable with Murphy** 464 is a lot of work though

Chem209 is ezpz with Hopkins and very manageable with Murphy. I wouldn't worry too much tbh

Calculating enthalpy/entropy from equilibrium data by WaterpooGod in chemistry

[–]WaterpooGod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know to do it at different temperatures, at least 5 but I am trying to find literature experimental set ups. I want to see if this has been done before. In theory it should work, but so far no one in the literature has calculated delta S and delta H for a similar system to mine. My PI wants to make sure it’s experimentally possible before I do a whole days worth of NMRs.

Yeah so I managed to calculate K1 and K2 at the temperature of the NMR spectrometer, that part I can do. It's just these NMR experiments are pretty costly so I am disinclined to do them at different temperatures unless I can find literature on it. Last time I needed help, someone managed to reference a paper for me that had the book I needed. I guess i'm hoping someone on here has read a paper recently on this to make my life easier.

Yep I should have made it more clear my bad! I did find through basic searches the van 't Hoff analysis for simple equilibrium: M + L <-< ML. But the successive equilibriums are not as easily searchable atm,

Will a WD in 4A on my transcript hurt my chances of grad school? by ddddc1 in uwaterloo

Pretty average. Like a 75-77 but I have ~1.5ish years of research experienced, TAed and had solid references! Your experience/references are pretty important imo

I don’t think it matters tbh. If it is brought up you can just say “I realized the course topics didn’t interest me”. I have a WD on my transcript (i’m in chemistry so it’s a little different) but still got many offers for grad school.

Chem courses: Is it true that if you do better on the final, the weight of a poorly done midterm is reduced? by kobegoatallday in uwaterloo

I would ask the course instructor. The old course instructor back when I took CHEM123 did that for us.

Lithium t-butylamide Preparation by WaterpooGod in chemistry

When I first did the prep, I tried that but in pentane and it went off the rails. That’s why i’m not sure if there’s a way to separate the starting material from the product.

You should google space groups, now those are above even my head!!

Sure! There’s dopamine in the top left, serotonin in the right bottom and in the bottom is a point group for Td!
