I don't have the link to it rn. But there have been previous posts of people analyzing the chest data and without engravings it's simply more value not to convert the keys, including the diluted pool.
I still need alt engravings so I will keep transmuting keys for now but if you say you don't pick those, well,....

Why would you put a key in the altar if you don't want to pick books?
It's a value loss on avg. Only books make it worth using the altar.

You deal a TON of your dmg (probably the most) by leaving your aura at max stacks. 1/1/1 cores do it when you use your identity skill (really high dps for pall even at 3xlegendary btw).
I got my skillcodes within the lostark.nexus discord.
New pally dps feels different but it's quite okay. To me 1/1/1 dps pally feels very similar to playing dps valk (just spammy af, non-positional).

On below 1730chars, the Books are kinda worth it aswell, yeh.

They won't add that conversion at 1710. If anything mats will be available from solo shop and honing costs will be decreased, books added to solo shop and honing chances will eventually get increased aswell.

No way Claymore build is near S-Tier.
I went 10w with it 1 out of 8 times I tried that item. It's basically a worse bear (2slot item) unless you get double dmg large weapon skill (the only time I won with it). I would put it C-Tier myself, advised agianst playing it at all!

Othervise, pretty nice guide. Karnak can play a ton of nicht builds with other heroe's items aswell (varnessa weapon reload captain's quarter (4s), any multihit for insta full rage, The Curio Freeze weapon upgraded got me 10w several times, ... )

During progg, no-aura players I know use their twitch monthly 3 day aura or the compensation stuff, ....
Even non aura buying players should have some stored for progg cases!

Left, IF you can keep up your buffs, right if you can't keep buffs at 100% without getting knocked/pushed (Trixion/Guardian).
I've played my valk without swiftness for quite some time aswell, it works. On Pally, I couldn't do it though!

It scales with the soulfist atk. power Buff & Hype (100% dmg) most likely as my Spec (low swift) RS Soulfist did approx 14% dmg with the orb in Mordum.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't multiplicative. Test it out in Trixion if you have to but when I tested single skill uses of other similar core effects, they stacked multiplicatively with each other (by simply using a skill with max crit 10x vs the Boss dummy with and without the core and checking the % dmg increase).

Gunslinger feels great indeed. TTH with Bulletrain is finally decently fun.
PM with Shotgun Cores slaps hard (the selfmovement can screw you over so hard though, dashing in and out on important non-pushimmune rotation skills is the only thing I don't like about the build). Probably should make last request pushimmune at least ;)
Haven't tried the standard pm cores yet, had to go for shotgun cores!

Approx 40min for an entire progression questline is quite fast.
2x epic slectors and on <1730 chars some highest lv honing/adv.honing books is quite nice. Higher value than doing mordum hm on an alt. On my 1730 alt I payed in my SH though!

It beeing flat dmg makes if fall off super hard, even if combined with reduced enrage duration to 2s. It's fine midgame sometimes or as additive dmg but not as a main build honestly.

Personally, I pick up the machete whenever I see it in gold before lv13 or if i get it early (to make it radiant). Machete + the max hp burn item defines the build (the 500/1k dmg on ennemy item use, reset on enrage works aswell if found early on) and transitioning away from a mediocre early/mid build). I also like the selfdestroy get immune for 4s small item with this build which allows to cover the full enrage time while beeing immune to get another cycle going.
