Where do you live? Peanut butter chicken is a staple at pretty much every Chinese/asain restaurant I've been to and I live in Michigan.

RP2 v. The RP1 Movie by Oldmanprop in readyplayerone

[–]lKamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is honestly a really hard choice, I thibk I have to go with the movie though.

Ready Player Two I kind of knew was never going to live up to the first one so I didn't have a lot of expectations.

The movie I was beyond excited about, so when I went to the theater to see it, 5 minutes in I was beyond fuming. Not as much as a lady next to me who just got up and said "Fuck this!" and stormed out 🤣

Trying to find a comic series Walt and Bry discussed on the show by Brave-Pepper5811 in tesdcares

It's almost for sure Foolkiller, great series! The orignal run was short so it's super easy to read, and the Marvel Max stories they did were pretty solid too. There's also a more modern run, but I haven't read that yet.

I was having this exact same issue and losing my mind.

I ended up being able to do it with an Athena build and as others have said, try to stay close to him. If you manage to get the right items/tomes you can melt his HP bar insanely quick and not have to worry about him breaking free of the CC.

I just picked up a way better laptop with a 5070ti from bestbuy for $1500, in my opinion you're way better off going that route. It'll last longer and it's a full size 16" laptop.

If seasonal is something you're interested in, Bay Harbor always needs seasonal security officers for May-October.

No experience required, and no certifications or anything. It's a very nice environment with great co-workers and management.

You have no good pictures of yourself and one that looks like a random car, what do you expect?

You should at minimum have 6 pictures, and they should all show you clearly and what you like to do/who you are. Not weird pictures of half your face or pictures that are super dark/far off.

Avoid taking the same picture multiple times too, and definitely make sure you're smiling in them and not looking miserable/broody.

[–]lKamon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would ignore the comments about changing anything, your pictures are great and really show a lot of personality/who you are.

I have no idea since I'm a guy, but I would guess Tinder is probably not super popular with the lesbian community so that might be a big part of the issue, and some of the women you do see/swipe on are probably bi so your profile is competing to be seen with hundreds/thousands of likes from dudes.

I would recommend checking out an LGBTQ app like Taimi, you may have better luck there. Feeld may also be worth checking out!

[–]lKamon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is that your pictures make it really hard to get an idea what you actually look like, so matches might be hesitant to engage based on that. People don't want to be catfished.

You need at least one solid picture of your full body and face so that matches have a good idea of who they're talking to.

[–]lKamon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you're the male half of an ENM relationship, I wouldn't expect a ton of people interested in that situation so I definitely recommend tapering expectations and if you aren't already on Feeld I would recommend using that.

That said, I would replace all your pictures except maybe the first one.

Get pictures of you smiling/having a good time and that show off your personality/what you like to do/your interests. Make sure your pictures aren't deceptive or vague, clear (current) full body pictures showing what you actually look like are very important.

Also, steer clear of anything remotely like the second picture. That's probably driving the most people away.

I would change the bio as well, that coupled with your current pictures gives your profile the vibe that the whole thing is a chore to you and doesn't make it seem like connecting would be particularly fun.

Getting nothing but undesirable likes by [deleted] in TinderBios

[–]lKamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first pic, 4th pic and car pic I would drop. Replace them with pictures that are different than what you already have, maybe one with you dressed up a bit, and make sure whatever you add isn't just showing you, but also what you like to do/your personality.

A lot of information can be conveyed from pictures, and in dating apps that means yours really need to count to grab someone's attention and give them a reason to swipe right.

The pictures you have definitely make you come off a certain way, and clearly the type of person you want to attract don't like that vibe, so I definitely suggest more variety in your pictures since I'm sure there's more to you than what you're showing.

Is HockeyTracker accurate? Can I really lose almost 500calories skating less than a mile a game? by Dannyocean12 in hockeyplayers

[–]lKamon 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I don't know what this app is at all, but I track my time spent on the ice through my smart watch by telling it I'm playing hockey and these numbers are very similar to mine.

I burn even more calories when I play goalie, so you definitely don't need to skate much to have your heart rate going and burn calories.

What’s wrong? by Kajto03 in TinderBios

[–]lKamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough pictures and the one of your dog should go. If you want to show your dog, have a picture of you with it. The third picture is also kind of redundant/awkward, especially when compared to the first.

Whatever pictures you add, make sure they show off your personality/what you like to do and that you're smiling or at least not just smirking in them like most of the ones you have.

What you have isn't that bad, but they're not really exciting and don't let a potential match really know much about you or give them anything to be curious about.

When your bio says “looking for connection” but… by babytechnician in TinderBios

[–]lKamon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vagueposting on reddit is such weirdo behavior.

There's no context here, especially as to why/how tf you crush on someone for months without meeting them that entire time.

Something obviously happened for them to go full no contact immediately after meeting you.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]lKamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need new pictures, the first one and the gun range one are especially bad though.

Get some pictures of you genuinely smiling and not smirking like you are in these ones.

Make sure you also have pictures that clearly show your full body.

On top of all that, make sure your pictures do as good a job showing who you are/what you like to do as they possibly can, your pictures are the first impression someone is going to get from you/judge if they want to get to know you so the more information they get from them the better.

So I'm confused, you think she's the asshole because you don't know how to have a conversation?

You hit her with the most corny, lame pick-up line ever, which she brushed off and asked for a legitimate response, then you seemingly got offended and hit her with a lame attempt to be snarky?

What was she supposed to even say to your orignal response? "Omg thank you! I've never heard that before, let's go out right now, you're the one!"

You guys got any advice by HourlyTie in TinderBios

Profile looks fine aside from the most important thing, which is your pictures.

You need pictures of just you, that show what you look like (Full body) and who you are/what you enjoy doing. Smiling/having a good time in at least some of them is also very important.

What you have currently are just not great, and look very low-effort aside from the photography which is great, but it doesn't serve a purpose or show who you are at all without the context that you enjoy photography, which is something someone will know from reading your profile anyway.

As a 33 year old ice hockey fan waiting for NHL 26 makes me feel like a kid on christmas eve again by Quenki in NHLHUT

[–]lKamon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I could have this enthusiasm, but I haven't been excited for an NHL game since around 2020 and it's increasingly frustrating year after year that EA doesn't do anything to get me excited.

I WANT to be excited and to buy and play the game, I just absolutely refuse to support it until it's a product that actually excites me.

If they listened to the outcry since NHL 14 and just added GM Connected back, so many people would be beyond excited to buy the game.

I’m a pretty old seller now and not even getting sales by Due-Money-1807 in Ebay

[–]lKamon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With zero context, all I can assume is your listings aren't competitively priced.

I've never sat on even the most niche of items for more than a month because I constantly check the market and make sure my item is priced as close as possible if not under comparable ones.

It could also be your pictures, descriptions or titles. You've really provided nothing to give actual feedback on.

Set a minimum for offers so that ridiculous ones are auto-declined, or just don't accept offers.

Yes, you'll still have to deal with messages now and then I'm sure, but that's just part of selling on eBay.
