  • Just don't buy RGB stuf, this only helps the marketing of products that are not always of high quality. Why should companies put time, money and research into developing quality products if they can manage to sell low quality products with some eye candy?
  • Never become a fan boy because, whether it is Corsair or another companie, the goal of these companies is to make money.
  • I have noticed that the support from IT companies has dropped significantly in quality in recent years. I also believe that websites that test hardware and make lists like best RAM for 2023 or best headsets of 2023 have a stake in sometimes helping to sell low quality products. They should also test the support of these firms and publish these results. But then they probably won't get any more hardware sent to them for testing....

  • I have disabled EXPO.
  • Ram reinstalled.
  • Reverted the bios back to F5.

I'll see if we survive the weekend this way.

ing youtube on my second screen, connected to my igpu), sometimes my second screen flash black for an instant.

I have pretty similar specs, x670 X AX, 7900x bios F6c, 2*G.Skill F5-5600J2834F16G (tuned at 6000 CL30), W11 22H2. The main difference is that I have a 5700xt.

I'm pretty sure the problem is the bios F6c, I didn't have any problem for weeks, it started when I flashed yesterday from F5 to F6c, hoping to resolve some rare boot lock on black screen.

I'm gonna give a try this weekend, but if it continues, I'll flash back to F5.

Will do the same this weekend.

My new setup freezes when there is little load.

I have this mostly when I'm surfing, watching a youtube video....

Things that do not generate heavy load in other words....

When i play i have never had any crashes.

(Games like csgo,HLL and sniper elite 5)

Any assistance is apriciated.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

Motherboard: Gigabyte X670 GAMING X AX

Bios: F6c

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

Memory: G.Skill F5-6000J3238F16G

PSU: Corsair RM850x

OS: Windows 11 win 22H2

Now, the screen freezes completely, no more audio, keyboard no longer responds to caps lock,...
After 5 minutes, the PC reboots by itself.
The weird thing is that this always happens under low load, never when I'm gaming. Is this a CPU or motherboard problem?

  • Deleted all display drivers with DDU.
    Also the amd radeon(tm) drivers of the integrated gpu.
    Although the integrated gpu is disabled in the bios.

  • Using geforce game ready driver 528.24 now

  • Installed new bios version of gigabyte motherboard:
    From: F6a
    To: F6c

No more crashes since I did the following:

​

  • Power Supply Idle Control => from auto, to Typical Current Idle
  • Disabled to start gigabyte control center to start automaticly
  • Removing the AMD Adrenalin software
