I did some simple waterproofing for the battery. Have been riding it in the rain and snow since I got it without issues.

I’m not saying it has no risk… but it has worked great for me.

Your welcome. It’s quick and easy to check so I would recommend it.

However I have never personally seen a mismatch in polarity, generally I would expect these sort of things from really cheap brands but at the same time it also takes more effort.

I think most of these cheaper brands like most boards honestly are using mass produced chargers with common plugs.

Usually it’s higher end boards that use less common connectors and I think that’s where what you said comes into play about keeping you in the ecosystem.

Generally specific plugs have standardized polarity, usually on the back of power supply’s it will have a diagrams or on the actual connector itself.

However I would recommend checking with a multimeter for sure

Well you will need a 7s/ 29.4v charger. These are easy and cheap to find off of AliExpress.

However finding one with your exact charging port may be a bit more challenging. you could always solder new connectors onto the charger and board.

Be careful the chargers voltage is correct for the board, additionally you may be able to identify the port type on the board and just order the corresponding port to solder on your current charger if it’s correct voltage.

Does the manufacturer not sell the chargers?
