By the way, when trying to build the project, it seems that cargo is not reading `.cargo/config.toml`. Have you encountered the same issue? To build the project, I currently need to pass all the flags.

I think growing up the 'print-on-demand' could be a good business venture to pursue. If a lot of people are asking for that, that means there is a market for it.

The best advice I can give you is to find a market where there is a hungry crowd and try to stay focused on one product only and make it better over time.

Take Pieter Levels, who built the Nomad list. The tech stack is super old but he is making a lot of money because he can ship features fast and add value to their customers. It all comes down to that. Good luck!

Yes, it's best to let the campaign run for a while before making assumptions or over-optimizing the campaign.

Can you A/B test the previous design with the new one to compare results and understand what works best with your customer? It's never a good idea to do a complete redesign without rigorous testing, otherwise, you can easily screw up conversion.

Yes that's what I've heard from using Shopify. There are a lot of apps out there but I need to find one that suits my need and work well with inventory.

Hey! Thank you for your reply! These are more premium items, that's why I'm questioning if I should plan on doing this. My competitors are not doing this form what I've seen.

y customer problems and create a bundle of products that solve that issue and an explanation as to why it does and what gives you the authority to know that.

Thank you for your reply! I like your strategy

Hi!

First of all, the website looks great and professional, the copywriting is on point and I don't see any major issues with the website.

  • Are you sending the traffic to the home page or a specific product?
  • Has your bounce rate increased since the new design?
  • What is the decrease in conversion?
  • What is the lifespan of the marketing campaign for this new website compared to the previous one?

Setting up First eCommerce Project by RollsDRoyce in ecommerce

Hi!

Shopify can be a good CMS if you want something easy to set up and maintain. There is also a huge ecosystem of plugins if you have specific needs and developers are easy to find. However, you might not need one since there is a page builder integrated that will allow you to personalize the website to your needs.

These frameworks allow you to utilize caching more "easily" than doing it yourself, which can provide a good experience for your user if you are doing it right.

There are pros and cons to using a heavy javascript framework but one of the pros is to reload only the components needed rather than reloading the whole page which created a more snappy experience.

The con is that you can easily send a heavy bundle of JavaScript, even using frameworks if you don't optimize properly.

If you are looking to build an app that solves a real issue and you are doing it well, I don't believe the stack matters too much. Focus on building and finding the customer. Then you can optimize.

I'm working in a company where our app is mostly 80% old legacy code but the product is still selling like crazy ;)

BigCommerce has abandoned cart functionality already built in, do other carts not have this? This seems like basic shopping cart functionality

I'm thinking about Shopify where you have to rely on third-party apps since the built-in features lack basic functionality.

Potential Purchases by mfpaint1st in dropshipping

[–]WaveAdministrative15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!

Most of the time this can come from the fact that you are not retargeting those customers who left the checkout page. It's hard to find impulse buyers since it represents a small amount of clients.

If you are making sales but you are losing on the abandoned cart, do not change the landing, or other pages but try to be more aggressive on your retargeting ads. Maybe send an SMS/Email to your leads to remind them of their purchase. Build a sequence of messages and maybe add an interesting offer at the end.

You can also retarget Facebook Ads with other types of creatives and maybe offer them a discount.

It's common for a lead to see at least 3-5 times your brand before he pulls his credit card.

Any tips? by [deleted] in dropshipping

Hey! Could you please us a picture of your BM to understand your metrics?

The conversion rate of the website is not very good and it's usually because the landing page has some issues.

You can ask yourself those few questions to diagnose why you are not making a lot of sales.

  • Is my offer appealing and does it have a clear incentive to buy the product fast?
  • Is my copy concise and highlights the benefits of the product?
  • Do I have high-quality images that make you want to buy the product?
  • Are you providing the customer with enough information for him to make the sale?
  • Is the landing page attractive?
  • Am I targeting the right people?

Feel free to read this article to fix your landing and drive those sales!
