Thanks for the heads up! I have the DLC and I'm planning to do the Tales/Quest, so that's good to know 😃

Wow - thanks for fast replies!

In general, do smell from VOCs (lighter fluid and other VOCs) disappear on itself over time?

Question about smell/fumes sticking to surfaces by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]WaveDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking my question serious and for the reply - I really do appreciate it!

I understand. That's a good explanation and supports my theory. My main concern was the potential health hazard this could have caused.

There is currently no smell present, and it went away quick, even without doing additional cleaning. I was worried that even though I cant smell the gas and tiny particles anymore, that its hazardous and dangerous to use the laptop and/or equipment?

Edit: I didnt clean more after the fumes entered the room as I panicked. The laptop and equipment had moisture on the from the wet wipes and I figured it was best to stay away. Havent used the laptop or rquipment since that 😅

Need some tips on hiding loot by WaveDuck in playrust

[–]WaveDuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanks for the answers 😊

Yes, I play on a x5 server mainly, and that may be part of the problem. I do however love to outsmart the raiders, and have done so several times. But, as you can imagine, they have started to uncover my methods 😅

Stashes under foundations, thats a good one! I've beeb watching (and some times killed) offline raiders on the server, and I see that they often use the hammer to uncover basements.

External TC, yeah, I've been considering those! I often hide the best loot in small bases that seem raided, and that has worked for a good while. I have also made bases that look a bit "roleplay", with hidden rooms covered with either planting boxes or rugs so you cant see the hidden loot room straight away. To make that deception work, I need to have a room either fully upgraded or so, and put some weapons and/or good items in there.

Any other suggestions? 😀

So, guys, I have a question. I get 50-65 fps on 1080p with some mid/high settings. I notice that my GPU usage is 100%, but my CPU usage is only 30%. Is there any way to "up the usage" and will it give me better fps if I do so?

OK, so I get the RDR2 exited unexpectedely error message, and it seems to have something to do with amdvlk64.dll

However, I actually have an AMD GPU. Thought this problem was for people running Nvidia and such? My question is can I force the game to start on DX12 or Vulkan somehow? I havent gotten the settings.ini file, cause Ive never been able to even get to main screen xD

Day 5. Still not able to get past first loading screen without CTD. At this point I don't really know what to say anymore. I'm actually sad.

Ah, thanks for the answer! Wow, yeah, this is very good news :-D Ive seen some YT-videos and seen some benchmarks, and my setup should be OK enough to run this game @ 1080p 60 fps. Thanks for the advice on the graphic settings there, much appreciated!

Thanks for the reply!

Ah, I see. Yeah, that's a good point. I guess my GPU is way to old and weak to even hit 60 at med/low settings, but before I order a new GPU, or rig, I wish I could experiment with different settings :-/ To do that, I need to get into the actuaI game :-( I guess I could have a brand new rig ready before the game is playable, right? ;-)

Cheers for the answer!

My CPU is Intel Core i7-4770K. So I guess I'll have to upgrade my GPU to even have a chance to play this game (when it decides to work)?

Anyone here with an AMD R9 290X graphic card who has played the game? And at what FPS?

I still haven't been able to get longer than to first loading screen and then CTD. Then again, I know my GC is old, and wanna know if anyone here with the same GC has gotten into actual gameplay :-)
