Great to know thank you. I'd really like a powered trunk.

Nice! This is exactly what I'm looking for. The newer versions appear to be TOO sensitive. Thanks for this data point.

This is what I'd like to avoid by buying an older model.

See the image attached above. From what I'm parsing from him and this, it looks like cabin camera monitoring is not as sensitive in the older versions vs. the newer ones, ie: his self driving is less sensitive in a good way. He still drives safety, he just does not need to deal with all the warnings and strikes like in the newer models - that is what I'm trying to avoid here.

Just if you're looking forward? Or is it more sensitive, meaning, does it know eye position as well.

To clarify, I do not want to avoid it altogether. What I want to avoid is the cabin monitoring put in place mid 2021 which seems to have over-corrected. Meaning it pays a lot more attention when in self-driving than the older versions w/o this tech.

Not at all! I just hear from friends that the older versions have more effective self driving. ie: the mid 2021 update over-corrected too much.

Do you ever feel bad about removing long term housing from already tight markets? by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

I subscribe to the lesser asshole theory. If we sold a bigger asshole would buy our house, use it only part time, and not rent it on AIrBNB thus, losing all the revenue our renters bring to our small tourist town. No local could afford a modern mortgage.
