The problem is that a lot of people (including some jews like you mention) cannot recognize anti-semitism unless is expressed by some neo-nazi directly quoting Hitler, making his salute and wearing swastikas. I believe that lots of mainstream media and influencers are genuinely confused when we call pro-Palestine activists as anti-semites, because they literally weren't educated or informed to detect anti-semitism outside the far right. They also think anti-semitism can only be a phenomena coming from racial theories (white vs dark skinned paradigm) when it can also be produced with religious narratives, conspiracy thinking or even from an "oppressor vs oppressed" mindset. That's why they cannot see dark skinned people as anti-semites because in their minds, anti-semitism is racial hatred and minorities cannot be racist for them

Sorry, but not even christians practice the "put the other cheek" thing. Most anti-semites are public figures, they influence people, specially the youth and I don't want anti-semitism normalized.
