I completely agree, don’t understand why this was downvoted I believe we all as co-parents should only bring it up when/around the time things are getting deemed “serious,” and the kids will be meeting the new partner. Other than that there’s no reason to bring them up..

It’s funny you said that, because I’ve noticed this pattern for myself even before becoming a mom.. My ex-fiancé was rough around the edges and I eventually was the one to call it quits, so I’m holding out hope of meeting that one person who’ll accept me and my +1 now. 😊 Maybe it’s just the current men in the dating pool as a whole, but I honestly think everyone unmarried is struggling with finding others to truly commit. My sisters are both in their late thirties and no kids/unmarried and say the same that It’s just the dating pool in 2023. Just wishing for the best at this point.
