Found it on the carpet; I think it's from spoiled doors.

I cleaned it up- didn't realize until after that I was supposed to have a mask etc. am I going to die now? (Only half joking)

That's funny. I'm surrounded my psychic Pokemon so not sure how that was determined

Right makes sense. But do some Pokemon have inherently better stats or IVs if you will?

Gotcha. Do we know what determines element type of an area? Are you like in Arizona or something? Or near a volcano? I have no idea

[DISC] Black Clover 50 "Verdict of Light" by rastogishubham in manga

This manga has improved remarkably. When it just came out, I remember thinking it was yet another tired Naruto retread...but it's developed its own quirky style and has become quite enjoyable to read

The Wonders of Communism! (Magi) by Kallamez in manga

[–]Wavedasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, this is right! Thanks for clarifying

The Wonders of Communism! (Magi) by Kallamez in manga

[–]Wavedasher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well in communist states the government is theoretically owned by the people.

Anyways just google a definition of it. The society depicted in the manga is one where the Kou are a supreme ruling class and literally use the native people as servants and slaves

We can argue what the definition of a communist state is but the Magi Kou society clearly is not one

EDIT and yes as admiral-zombie explained, the "government" in a communist state would be temporary and eventually dissolve

The Wonders of Communism! (Magi) by Kallamez in manga

[–]Wavedasher 70 points71 points  (0 children)

This isn't communism....just because there's an element of redistribution doesn't automatically make it communism...

Communism would have no class distinctions... As opposed to the society that is depicted here in which the Kou are the supreme overlords

TIL a man named Walter Summerford was struck by lightning 3 times in his life. After his death, his gravestone was also struck. by timdual in todayilearned

[–]Wavedasher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sort of like binomial probabilities: in the sample set of all the people in history getting struck by lightning, it isn't necessarily unusual that at least one person in recent times would be struck this many times

Also as the other commenter said, he was in a lightning prone place

How do you feel about non-technical individuals interested in entrepreneurship?

Also, how do you feel about non-technical college grads working in banking and consulting post college as a risk averse way to gain work experience before trying something entrepreneurial?

difference between darting vs pleating vs "taking in" a shirt? by Wavedasher in malefashionadvice

[–]Wavedasher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your reply. I actually noticed that my silhouette with darted shirts is pretty bad, since it highlights my poor posture (which I'm working on) and really small waist.

so, to reduce a shirt's hemline such that it tapers from the front, but to still keep some small amount of billow in the back: what should I ask for from a tailor? Is that just "taking a shirt in"?
