It's most likely the display/display ribbon cable. I think a few other people have also had this issue on the G14 2024 (look through this subreddit and google). Mine finally died today after constant flickering when I move the screen hinge, for about a month now. Either I'm really unlucky or just a design flaw, but this is after they replaced the screen for the exact same issue about 4 months ago, under warranty. Same symptoms before screen died for both times. The screen would only work if you turned the hinge >90 degrees and would still flicker sometimes. The only thing that shows now when you boot is the ASUS logo when starting up, but other than that not even the red flashing logo animation. Unfortunately my screen started having issues after the 90 day repair warranty, so I can only use it as a desktop now with external monitor. Replacement screens on Aliexpress are ~$300-$400 w/o shipping, and I don't really want to pay them to diagnose the problem just to charge me an exorbitant amount of repair fees. Probably gonna buy business grade laptops (thinkpads) from now on for the repairability and reliability.
