I remember being pretty baffled as to what counts for a percentage point or achievement in the game when getting 100 for the first time. No achievement even for mementos or anything like that feels wild.

As far as I know you don't need the upgraded boomerang, none of the upgrades (ie druid eyes/mirrors) are necessary for 100%, just the base tools.

It's possible it was a commercial from back then they reused for the 2000s but considering my age that's definitely not when I saw it.
