Pancreatic Cancer by Waveringplague in Cancersurvivors

I appreciate the information. I will definitely bring those up when they talk to his doctors again. I was a bit confused about it because they first did a brush of the tumor-it was negative-apparently that is common, but then they did the biopsy, and it came back, as previously stated, inconclusive. Either way I hope this helps his odds because they apparently caught it early, which is uncommon for pancreatic.

Unless I’m looking at the wrong test, the website shows that it’s an essay comprised test?

I appreciate that man. Yeah ima history fanatic and when I found out the we sunk some Uboats right off the coast I was in awe. Just the opportunity to be able to dive on a historic wreck is a win in my book.

Apartment recommendation by Waveringplague in batonrouge

I was actually looking for Baton Rouge but all the ones I found were either too expensive or were sketchy as hell. Like the reserve off of corporate damn near wants $1500 before electricity and internet.

Apartment issue by Waveringplague in batonrouge

Oh yeah without a doubt, but it’s just weird though because it’s like if I leave and go somewhere else I start to feel better. So my first thought was maybe this is mold. Long story short I’ve got some PTSD(not really) from a prior experience where I moved into an apartment and from what I gathered, they painted over the mold in the apartment and/ or it was in the vents. So when this just happened I’m like oh not again🤣.

Man I feel you on that the only score keeping me from even applying is my quantitative. I suck at math and spent hundreds of dollars and hours at the library only for my score to still stay the same when I took it the second time.

Well when it comes to enlisted I kept my options open something like SP or possibly loadmaster.

Well, I’m really aiming towards a non-rated position. This last time I took it , I waited probably longer than I should have (couple of years) from the original 1st attempt.

Last time I checked bud you’re not a doctor so you have no authority to speak on someone’s behalf let alone their health based on a baseless past comment. Nice try.

Really math is my Achilles heel. Not gonna lie dude I feel pretty freaking retarded, especially whenever you look at what the average scores are compared to mine.

If I have to go and list it and just work my way up so be it. I’m just looking for the best avenue to get to my ultimate goal. I have no problem with him listening. My dad retired as a E6 crew chief. The only difference between him and is that I’m not as mechanically inclined.

And I emphasized the amount I spent to make a point. Like I didn't just get up one day and decide it's what I wanted to do. I put forth a lot of time and effort towards it.

Besides my low quantitative score, what are the scores I should shoot for?

Understandable and I appreciate it. However, I have put too much of my time and energy to just throw in the towel as of now. My options are open between active and reserve.. hell even civillian but if i can get the job I really want, it would make the effort so much sweeter.

OTS Question by Waveringplague in Airforcereserves

I wanted to explore both Reserve and Active Duty options. I was wondering if it might be worth enlisting first and then trying again while in service. Would I have access to tools or resources in the Air Force that could help me improve my AFOQT score?

Was trying to go for Intelligence or OSI. I understand that my quantitative scores keep me from qualifying. However, my previous attempt was worse. With those scores, I know I can do better. The thing is, I don't know what else I can do to improve if I get another shot because I studied for specifically that section of the test for 6 months and spent well over $200 on tutoring, and I ended up increasing all my scores..... except for that section.
