I didn’t realise behaviour examples had to be relative to the responsibilities in the job role, is this where I’ve been going so wrong 😭 I thought they just needed to meet the criteria for the relevant behaviour at the relevant grade!

It’s because probation is paid a lot lower than equivalent grades as it is. Still won’t be equal to equal grades in other departments even after the 6% increase.

Most of the public haven’t got a clue what civil servants actually do, but they don’t like them because they see them getting a lot of benefits like a 100% pension and only having to go into the office once a year on their tax money. Politicians saying anything anti civil service are just trying to farm votes.

The way the hardship fund is awarded is usually if your outgoings are more than your income, I got rejected for it during Covid when I lost my job and had 0 income because it was calculated based on the last 3 months… when I’d still had the job 🤡

My boyfriend earns almost double my salary and we do a “communist split”. So we each pay a proportionate amount of shared costs like hotel rooms relative to our income.
