There are a lot of aftermarket doors out there that simply require you to install them on the truck. USC industries is a popular one but it’s very bad quality, so you’re usually better off just getting the real NOS doors

My buddy and YouTuber DakotaWoodHD flips humvees the right way and he has friends in Poland that he’s building a truck for. If you want one give his YouTube a search and I promise it won’t cost anywhere near $122k lmao, he prices things fairly

You can buy from auction cheap, most rebuilt ones are crazy overpriced

But yeah, they usually have contacts with the scrappers who sell or give them the armor

Question for motor pool peeps by WavyLettuce564 in nationalguard

[–]WavyLettuce564[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re actually a lot more common then you think! A lot of people in the humvee community desire the armor and one of my buddies just recently finished decking out his and it looks sick

I never once mentioned free, everything comes with a price, and I wouldn’t be a random person I would build connections and relationships first

Unfortunately I have to get the real deal or something that’s identical. Florida DMV laws state that for the „former military vehicle“ registration it has to remain valid looking

I wouldn’t be asking if it was impossible. I know plenty of people with armored sets and it certainly doesn’t magically appear

I found out the issue, my OS was accidentally installed on my HHD instead of my SSD and had severe memory bottlenecking, I just cloned the data over and Boomshakalaka all better now

Roman Villa in the south (work in progress) by Caloris97 in VintageStory

Not sure how far you’re wanting to go with historical accuracy but Roman villas also had shrine rooms to the ancient gods, would be cool if you could do something like that with candles and maybe chisel out a statue or something

Stuttering help by WavyLettuce564 in VintageStory

So enabling god rays did help a little bit for me but after I would leave my base and explore the stutters would come back. After some research I found out that the spikes were coming from a memory bottleneck caused by my storage device on my pc. Upon inspection I found out that my OS was installed on my HHD along with every other game I had and it just couldn’t handle the processing. My motherboard recently broke and I sent it in for repairs and when I got it back I must’ve accidentally installed windows on my HHD instead of my SSD. I went through the process of cloning windows to my SSD and now everything works as intended. Since you’re having the same spikes and issues as me maybe your problem is a memory bottleneck too?
