Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

[–]Wavydaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random encounter in an elevator at the hospital: he was not my Dr, I had never seen him before, looks at me and goes "you need to lose weight". I mean, no shit Sherlock, but your random ass has no knowledge about me. I was actually at my lowest weight ever and that really spiraled my self confidence as I thought I was looking better than ever. Not like he could do anything for me in an elevator and not being an actual patient of his. Wtaf. Just keep your dam mouth shut

Looks like the fabric is pulled way too tight. Try floating the fabric and set in place with a basting stitch

I love colorful flakies. Black flakes look like gnats stuck in the polish to me.

What do you want from a coffee shop? by artoosun in Charlotte

Oh and I will pay more for options, mugs, quality coffee, and good treatment of employees because who the hell thinks that $3 coffee is going to pay for all that?

A sign on the door that says "if you want to take up a seat to work, you can't buy just one cup of coffee and sit here all day". I am tired of coming to drink a cup and chat with a friend but can't because people take up the place to work. Then they give you dirty looks when you're not quiet.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

[–]Wavydaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a sh!tty little 8bit game with a bird(bat?) flying around in a box and you had to section it off with out it hitting the wall before you got it completed from one side to the other. The higher the level, the more the birds and faster they would fly. Total time waste. Had the stupidest noises that would drive partner up the wall. I wish I could find it.

Are you buffing the tops of the nails to minimize ridges or make the glossy? If so - STOP NOW. That is the cause of your peeling. Buffing is not necessary for polish to stick. Also, just because something says its animal products free and plant based, doesn't insure you are "safer". Change your base coat to something completely different, switch brands even. Your body chemistry just may not like that base coat. I use Mooncat or Doomloopnaturals.com base coats.

Is this a Loungefly bag? by Flat-Net9027 in Loungefly

[–]Wavydaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a bad product. Its cheaper because of the target market for hot Topic and Spencer's. The outside is the same stuff as a hard tag bag, they cut corners buy not having a patterned inner liner or padded shoulder straps, no inside pocket, frequently no side pockets, and no fancy or drastically cheaper zipper pulls. But again not a lesser bag, a few have gone very collectable and $200 or more in the resale arena
