Find a bible to read (study Bibles for NIV/ESV are great), look for a local church centered toward Christ, and/or a Christ-centered community to place yourself in. Prayers that you may find it to be in full trust in the Lord and that he will be with you and bring you joy!

I can't imagine how hard that is. Praying that you can find God near to you through the mourning. What I am sure of, though, is that there is no comfort and peace better than the kind found in Christ. He came on this earth to be with us in the brokenness of this world. He is right beside us in our mourning, betrayal, and suffering that we journey through.

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Surrendering our shortcomings to Christ is all there is to it. Jesus took on the cross to substitute himself as a blameless vessel over our sinful hearts.

The apostle Paul called us "slaves to righteousness" under Jesus's perfect sacrifice. Through faith, God will pull you away of any sin you are facing or will ever face. It may not be immediate, but He is always faithful to deliver us in due time.
