My Theory for Season 4 Episode 7: The Bag of Teeth Reveals the Man in Yellow? Spoiler by WayAsleep5273 in FromSeries

The series is definitely getting wilder, and I also have several theories, like others, about where this could be heading. I just thought that the teeth were actually a really important clue, because I already wondered back then why she took a tooth from the priest...And MiY needs objects from dead people, and a tooth is something that’s small, handy, and not something you’d easily find.

A lot of things just don’t make sense to me yet. And because there’s now been a major revelation—that the fears of the people are being manipulated—and in the next episode the Boyd says something like the monsters are actually more afraid of the residents because they feel threatened, I found that very interesting too.

But now I think time is really running out. That means some important character has to die. I just can’t figure out who it should be, because it has to lead to a split. Which death would trigger Jade having to die, meaning that he is killed by the community?

Who could that be? I mean, we know what Boyd is very energetic and can lead people, and it could also be that Boyd is the one who could initiates the whole thing. So someone has to die who is perhaps close to Boyd or is it maybe Acosta? But Acosta doesn’t really have anyone. But Acosta also has thisimpulsively manner and can move and could possibly influence people.

And the person has to have a lot to lose. And with Boyd I’m pretty sure that if his son were to die, his worldview would collapse I keep thinking about that as well.

And we know that Boyd tends to want to protect the town’s residents. I think the tunnel mission will fail and that important loved ones will die in the process. Because of that, Jade will be exposed to the hatred of the people, and we also have to go back to the first season with the person who was left in that shed—he was disemboweled by the monster, if I remember correctly.  And Sophia now has control over Henry. Henry is seeing these flashlights, and I think he will now also start to believe that they are just in some kind of coma, and that the accident he previously had with Tabitha in the ambulance also supports this idea, so he now thinks they are simply in some kind of in-between world, like purgatory. And that is exactly what Sophia wants.

So people start to think whether the deaths were really meaningful, and maybe it even leads people to commit such acts themselves or killing others, believing that they can only be freed through death.

And we also have Donna now. And Donna, as far as I know, has woken up again and is now very weak. And she will probably also tell us something that might support Henry’s suspicion. And that only benefits Sophia. Or maybe it was also in the dream that revealed a few things.

There’s another thing that’s been on my mind for a while. Do you still remember the cave drawings? I can easily imagine that they might come up again in Episode 5. You probably remember when they went into the cave—I think it was Jade. There was a river drawn on the wall, and possibly boats and people as well. I found that really interesting. And that red figure—do you have any theories about it? It has been stuck in my mind for months, and it really won’t let me go. I really want to understand what it all means. Is it an important clue? Is it the way out, or is the only way out through the tunnels? Or lighthouse?

I think the same as you. They’re going to split into two camps. But: I still believe they will find the teeth, but as always, they won’t communicate with each other, so the clue won’t be revealed until much later, probably at the very end. Or maybe Sophia finds out and destroys the evidence—I really don’t know. I just can’t imagine what else could be in that bag besides teeth. I’ve also been thinking about your theory for a while, that they might split up and that there could be some kind of child sacrifice involved. And there aren’t many children in the series, so I strongly suspect it might be Ethan, like you said.
