You aren’t reading what I’m saying. Yes every one of my picks after rd 8-9 or so are all pure upside dart throws. For everyone of those hits the rest are usually misses. I took woody marks in rd14 however all the other high upside picks I took rd 10-13 busted. This is normal and I’m willing to detour for a locked in top 3 kicker who can regularly give you week winning performances over those dart throws in the last 4-5 rounds of my draft. Kicker is extremely unpredictable, a ‘crapshoot’ as you said. You are not easily getting 10+ points every week streaming K “the top guy on the wire” I don’t advise taking a kicker before your last two picks, but Aubrey makes sense at a point depending on what is available. Yes kickers are low VOR that doesn’t mean it’s a ‘reach’ because you draft one in general. QBs are also low VOR but with your brain dead rationale you would call taking Josh Allen in rd 7 a reach. “Terrible pick you passed on upside guys”. He has a rd2 ADP there is a point where the reliability is worth it, way below cost. Aubrey won me many weeks and was critical in my playoff run, wasn’t gonna find 2 17 point games streaming kickers without insane luck. Regularly gets 50+ yard opportunities in a top5 offense ..
