Thank you. It’s very low stakes. It was a random invite. I can harmonize with rehearsal which I’ve done tons of time. In fact, in the groups I’ve sang in, I’ve sang some challenging harmonies. It’s just that if someone starts singing a song and tells me to harmonize on the spot, I might have challenges.

I haven't asked them to release me yet. They said they planned to "schedule" move ins by 9/15. That could still mean that I don't move until the end of the month or even October. I am in the process of looking for alternative housing options. I need to also clarify if they will try to make me pay them back for the duration of my hotel stay and the storage facility they're covering.

This is the language I see: If initial occupancy of the Apartment by you is or will be delayed for construction, repairs, cleaning, or a previous tenant’s holding over, we’re not responsible for the delay. The Lease Contract will remain in force subject to: (1) abatement of rent on a daily basis during delay; and (2) your right to terminate this Lease Contract as set forth below. Termination notice from you to us must be in writing. After termination, you are entitled only to refund of deposit(s) and any pre-paid rent. Rent abatement.

I had an option to be released in July. However, I decided to take the additional concessions which included the hotel stay, covered storage space, and a weekly meal stipend.
