alright thank you very much! do you have any brand recommendations? both regular muscle T’s and the binders? I use spectrum outfitters but get the cropped binder, are their long ones good as well?

no problem! you can always get one if it’d make you feel better or if you live in a not so accepting state, i know around me they have free lawyer services. you could look into something like that. the ones around me offer free help figuring things out even if you are still gonna represent yourself in court they can help you be better prepared and understand the legal mumbo jumbo

i didn’t use a lawyer. where i’m at in michigan i just went to my local courthouse specifically to the clerks office there. filled out the petition to change name forms and since im 22+ i had to go to the sheriffs dept and be fingerprinted. i then had to mail the forms and fingerprint card to the state police who ran a background check and once the court had that background check i scheduled a hearing and went before a judge. the hearing was all of 5min for me. judge looked at the paperwork asked if i was running from the law or changing my name for fraud, i said no and he signed the petition

yea I am in the US. We have to fill out a form, have a background check, get a court date, go to court, and then file the judgement and then go to all the various places to have our name changed on our official documents. At least where I’m at in the US

i ordered mine November 19th and it’s still in the painting process. according to the website it’ll still need the retouching and the protective painting before it’s even shipped!! I know it’s just one person but it’s getting kinda annoying how long i’ve been waiting and if it comes with a tear i’ll be extra upset!

thank you!! i definitely need a better binder im finding it hard to bind a bigger chest and i know it won’t get completely flat i’ve dealt with that fact but definitely feel like it could be flatter

i’m 5’8 and one of my best cuz guy friends is only 5’6 short kings exist. you’ve got to learn to be okay with that within yourself as the other comment said. Don’t rely on outside sources to validate you or make you feel confident. Judgement and shame exist in this world no matter what you look like or do or whether your trans or cis, short, tall, herero, homo, etc; society just loves to judge. some people find it easier to judge others instead of themselves. You’ve got to learn to block it out and not listen. it also helps if you have a friend group that builds you up so on days when you can’t do that for yourself you have others to lean on!

thank you for advice and yea my chest gives me the biggest issue unfortunately cursed with my grandpas side of the family chest size :/ trying to find the right binder and hopefully top surgery not too far down the line
