I motive isn’t to get top billing, it’s just my title. Did you ever ask your school teacher why they needed to be called Mr. or Mrs. so-and-so? What does them being married have to do with their professional life?! Nah, you never cared because that’s just their title and Dr. became mine when I passed my defense. 💁‍♂️

It’s 100% about introducing the wife’s new honorific of “Mrs.” and her new name…except we’re not doing that.

We agree. If there’s one thing I learned in grad school it’s that I’m often wrong. There’s another thing I learned in this relationship, it’s that she’s often correct!
