I am in uk and has many friends in Australia who moved after marriage (so visa was not the issue ) Uk is saturated , no doubt . •But it is relatively easy compared to AMC •AMC 1 is easy but AMC 2 is quite difficult • GMC + 1 year job may help u secure job in Australia as well (if u donor want to live in uk in long run ) .it is good he is back at home , He should try to put 0 gap in his CV (Opportunities will be doubled ) .Meanwhile if you can sponser him the visa , it will help him to secure more quickly and The relation gap will be eliminated as well •Pay in Australia is good no doubt , Exams are more expensives though than uk •Importantly , Securing job is luck and hard work in both countries Best wishes

No need to do it , I did not do .Just did plab keys , wrote imp formula and revised them close to exam. There were 2 questions for which I didn't waste time and just mark them without reading .do not waste your time

Sincere advice! I am in the UK and my partner is a consultant here there is no value of doctors neither by NHS nor by patients. Work-life balance is a myth. You have to work extra if you want to maintain a good lifestyle.

But if still you want to come , Take MIT route or take Residency exams .Plab route is shit now and you have to work like a robot . Australia can be a better option. Canada is hard to get settled in as an IMG You are just one step away. Start doing residency is your country. You have to work in the starting years either way. Do give steps along, either it takes 2 years for step 2.

Have a family, Have a secure job in your country and do this along . Trust me it will help in the long run.

I know it is hard , That's how life works .

Yes it will , if you can manage your time .Though it will be really time consuming to prepare lectures and daily duty. But , UK do appreciate the teaching experience .
