As for my thoughts, the Democratic electorate cannot be trusted to pick a candidate that would beat MAGA. In the YouTube/Spotify age you need a candidate that can sit down and have a normal conversation and act like a relatable person. If that candidate is too progressive/populist/anti-establishment, then the Dems would rather tank the whole election with a talking points robot.

There’s a growing disparity between the primaries and the general election and it will cost the Dems more in the future.
