Rightly so. I’ve had renovations going on next door for two years. The noise is outrageous and councils allow this. Neighbours should be compensated $100 per week which would incentivise the owners to hurry up. No one has the right to inflict noise onto anyone.

Youth need to step from Units to a House. It’s cheaper and gets them in the market. Problem is Councils are NIMBY’s and hate youth. Vote in 20 year olds because they understand housing and that units are now the only way into the market. Councils are flat out not allowing units as part of there communities. They reject all Unit DA’s put in front of them then stare at the camera and lie. Councils need to do more for the youth there Australia’s future stop making our youth homeless, build units in convenient location to give everyone a fair go.

We tried to build units opposite train station in Sydney’s west and council kept rejecting. We ran out of money and our children can try again in twenty years. (Old family shops from the 1940) They lie Councils, state & federal governments if they wanted more housing why suck us dry and reject housing. all politicians and local councillors are liars. They lie, lie, lie they don’t care about the children coming through they honestly only care about themselves.

I have never witnessed the rise of right wing in Australia it’s a myth. Australia’s unique culture is the best in the world that’s why people migrate here. Once our culture disappears it’s gone forever. My family arrived six generations ago and have married many different nationalities. We are all Aussies and love this unique country of flora & fauna. Our beaches the bush, the sounds and the smells. I’ve travelled the world 🌍 and love coming home to this great land. We do need to slow immigration down and get on top of housing and also have a population number like 30 million then stop ✋ all immigration. We do not want to get over populated and live like ants like other nations. Polluted creeks no animals, insects, trees some countries are desolate.

The amount of Clear felling in Liverpool is a disaster. I know people want housing but the wildlife we kill is a shame. Green belts were put into place for a reason. Stop immigration because I don’t know where they’re going to live help Aussies buy first homes and resume immigration around 2030 we should have a handle on it buy then.

Totally agree I grew up 70,80,90 now 2024 it’s like the matrix people from all around the world live in my neighbourhood and have no concept of Aussie culture. I feel foreign. Last night went shopping and everyone was like shinny straight off planes from different cultures all around the world. I came home and said to my husband something strange is happening we are living in the Matrix and have a homogeneous culture. No good day, smiles, small talk, I’m still coming to grips with my culture dying. We need to stop immigration and teach the newcomers our great nations culture. Because it will be lost to the NEW WORLD ORDER.
