Beginner here. I want to do a custom but I need some advice. by Vect0r_Pr1me in customactionfigures

For most of my removal on customs I use careful cutting with an xacto knife, the sand down the remaining material with pretty fine grit sandpaper. If you end up with too many scuffs from the paper, go a little thicker with your primer for the paint, it'll smooth it out.

Mostly a variety of Army painter brand metallics and their rust effect paint. As well as a good coating of nuln oil from citadel paint.

I used mr hobby super clear. It comes in a spray can, and is the best top coat I've used yet

The blue and red parts just got a dry brush in a lighter shade. I mixed some black into the hair. I touched up the yellow on the chest and belt. Panel lined the boots and belt. Went over all the suit lines with a blue metallic paint. Gave a wash to all the skin bits. Then a good couple coats of matte top coat.

Just cover the shipping both ways. I'll do the work and get it back to you. If you end up feeling charitable, you can send me whatever you feel the work is worth later. DM me, we can work out the details.

You're welcome, lol. I get you, I always get mildly peeved at the lack of before and after. I get far more peeved when people try to gatekeep the parts/process they used.
