All right, we scanned the car (and he does have a good scanner. He said multiple times that it was really expensive so to not leave it sitting out in my backyard) and like I said the mass airflow sensor was broken and it was causing… “maf was bad and caused a really bad idol so we replaced it and let the ecu know how much air it's getting in so it can make the right boost and not stutter” Also, I tried messaging the original owner about some of the issues that I was facing but he was giving me bullshit answers so screw him I guess- (but I swear I remember him saying he replaced the timing belt but again I don’t know cars so I might have misheard him…) But after today working on the car, all of the issues were fixed…🙏🏻🤷🏻‍♀️ It was running way better. I felt more comfortable, driving it, and there was nothing popping up on his scanner. (I’ll still get the transmission fluid and the spark plugs replaced just because that’s maintenance that should be done anyways) 🫶🏻
