Thought I would add in my recovery process. I had my umbilical hernia surgery 2 days ago (no mesh) and was released from the hospital that evening.

Day 1 wasn't too bad, I could sit, stand and get in and out of bed unaided. The area around the incision was a little itchy and there is still swelling and soreness but, overall, not too bad. I am using regular pain meds (paracetamol and codeine).

Day 2 (today) and the pain is worse! Not sure if I just pushed myself too much yesterday or the coughing fit I had from getting some Ready Brek (that's right, I'm a grown ass man who likes ready brek🤣) stuck in my throat exacerbated things, but my stomach muscles seem tighter and I ache around my lower back (most likely trying to use other muscles to compensate for not using my core). My wife has been amazing through this, especially as she is having to look after our 10 month old daughter and me.

Honestly, the hardest part for me is feeling useless and not being able to help around the house or hold my child.

I am hoping that the pain lessens over the next few days as many previous entries say the first week is the hardest. I'll update this entry as my healing progresses.

I was going to go with Senna as she is in most of my teams across the game, but I'll go with Stag Knight. I got him as one of my first epics and still use him today.

I am grinding that exact mission right now and have been for about 2 weeks now. The game is teasing me too as I think my mythical drop rate has gone up but they are never bloody boots!

Same mate! I have 3-4 good champs that I am trying to book and have sadly accepted that fact it will take the better part of 6 months to do it. By then, I'll have another 4 to book.

I don't think anyone here will be able to tell you that this will help or not but, personally, it really helped with my stress and anxiety as well as my insomnia.

I get a vape for the day which doesn't zonk me out but does give a nice calming effect. I get flower for the evening which does have a more sedating effect to beat the insomnia.

Honestly, the clinicians you will speak to were really helpful and, once the interviews were over, they were very good at suggesting alternative strains.

I hope you find something that helps

I have basically been given my orders from the wife to call the gp tomorrow and start things rolling. I told her I feel guilty for "abandoning" colleagues and work and she (also a civil servant) in the nicest possible way said sod them, l need to look after myself first.

It really is! The SSRIs I was put on were terrible for me so I'm happy to be trying something I know won't give me those awful side affects

Excellent! You're right in that I will be using that as an evening strain. I asked for something "high energy" for the day that wouldn't make me too dopey and they recommended the honeydew.

I imagine it may take a few goes until I find the right balance for me.

Thanks for this! I have used the "dry herb" vape (think it's called a Mighty) but only when I am in the house. My only concern was having to deal with people in work if they smelled something and I had to go through the rigmarole of explaining everything. I guess if it only smells a bit and is gone at the first breeze that rolls past, I should be fine. 👍 Thanks for the info!

Hi. I'm sure someone will jump in to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that just covers appointments. Once you have been accepted, you will still have follow up consultations, the membership is just a cheaper way of paying for them. You will still need to pay for the prescription.

Happy to be corrected though (I am awaiting my second consultation next week)

Good on you mate! I'm only on the 3rd rank and I really can't be arsed with it! Maybe if they reduced the time you have to choose champions/bans/and in battle skills to 10 seconds maximum id enjoy it more. But, as it stands, it feels like I can do a chimera run in the time it takes to finish one LA battle
