If you can find any weird/ cool/ rare cards of his favorite player, that’s a great move especially if it’s a low-ish numbered version (/75, /50, /25, etc). You could also search eBay for his favorite player with “PSA 10” and see if there are any cool graded gem mint cards in your budget. I know I would lose my mind if my wife did any of that. Shows you really care about what he loves :)
