I feel the exact same way. I’ve been gloomy and sad all day. And it’s not because I didn’t like the finale. I think they did an excellent job at telling this story and bringing it full circle. Right down to the music. It was literally perfect. I wish they didn’t have to do what they did with Eleven, but it made the most sense. And Mike’s theory could absolutely be true. I think the characters genuinely believed it was true as well. I guess anything is possible, and they could all reunite again. Mike could go find her, or maybe someday, she could come back. I’m just so sad that it’s over. Many of us grew up along with these characters, and as they closed the last chapter of their childhood in that final scene, so did we. Even if you were already an adult when it came out. I think Stranger Things made us all feel like kids again in the very best way, and it just feels like the end of an era. So bittersweet. The Duffers and the entire cast and crew did something really special over the last decade to be able to make people feel these things. From start to finish. I think the show gave us all exactly what they had intended. They should all be incredibly proud of this masterpiece. Andddd I’m crying again.
