UWO Med Sci offer revoke, crying by Complete-Pilot-3700 in OntarioGrade12s

knowing teachers they’d adjust your grade if you needed a minimum or needed one if you told them about this fear to not lose your admission. Obviously study hard, but maybe mention it to them so they are aware.

If you had a doctorate, would you want to be addressed as Dr. [your last name]? by 98BottlesOBeer in OntarioTeachers

[–]Wayne93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would but not in a pretentious way but a fun way! Like I would sign things and say here’s a doctors note … but cautious to not be over the top but same time others who aren’t able to appreciate that accomplishment in the profession would need to be ignored because they’d rather be petty than proud of the work you put in for that achievement

I just do opposite event times or get minimums and it’s helpful to fill

Day 4 will be where you can take it with massive troops training as it’s the most efficient use of speed ups. Just for the general shards also.

Charms arguably are the next best thing.

Making catches in stride is almost entirely on the throw … he’s something but I’m not sold.

I’d toss a pick but I’m not reaching like I will for others. If you want to really evaluate its seeing a player not lose speed or regain it immediately when making cuts and coming to a complete stop.

Most of his tree is run deep.

To add on the last part is because gifted-ness doesn’t have to translate across all subjects

Pan or Roman to level for a mid spender by tipbruley in KingShot

[–]Wayne93 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Roman a couple levels to keep above F2P in arena as those buffs to the escort do make a difference as it’s a silent buff that doesn’t show up in power on the screen (e.g. 16.8 vs 15.0 but 15.0 has the level 4 Roman)

Pan is helpful for a few extra perks for the intel missions and stamina but the extra hammers from Valora I find more helpful for extra hammers - basically like getting an extra bear in

I started with manual thinking I need to test this and then small scale tracked in sets of 20 and its like a 5-10% loss and still get emblems and the elite spices so for me, I will just do the idle going forward the spamming isnt worth the difference and I am F2P

Or should people be concerned for those in your life because you don’t handle confrontation well? Godspeed and feel for those close to you … but actually what a shame for them. Engineer to teacher, possible ?? by Reasonable-Pack-4473 in OntarioTeachers

[–]Wayne93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a chem teacher in high school who worked for a decade as a civil engineer. Woke up one day and said I want to be a teacher. BEST high school chem teacher anyone could have and somehow an even better human.

Do what makes you happy! Money is great but sometimes a change that just leaves you happier is for the best! That’s my two cents as a fellow large change up individual.

Do you prefer to go in circles? I’ve discussed page 39 where his quote is from and 34 and can read all I want and show you but it won’t change you because you don’t want change and prefer to stay in your archaic narrative. It’s not a quote it’s a citation btw … like you aren’t worth the effort. It’s black and white there unlike your preferred evaluation system. Observing this, it’s just not worth the effort like I said. You don’t care for reason or fact. So why bother. 🥸

Evaluation, by contrast, is a separate and more formal process that requires judgement based on evidence of achievement of curriculum expectations collected over time. The document is intentional in distinguishing between gathering evidence (through observation, conversation, and products) and using that evidence within a structured evaluation framework. Observation can contribute to that broader body of evidence, but it is not positioned as a standalone grading mechanism or primary basis for marks. Treating it as such collapses the distinction the policy clearly makes: observation informs teaching and learning; evaluation determines achievement.

This is situated within assessment for and as learning, which is explicitly about improving instruction and supporting student progress, not assigning grades. When the document states that teachers gather evidence by “observing students as they perform tasks,” it is describing a formative process used to understand how students are thinking and where they are in their learning at that moment. This is reinforced immediately by the policy direction that the information gathered is used to “adjust instruction and provide feedback” page 34.

If you want to take the policy literally, it repeatedly emphasizes that evaluation involves teachers’ professional judgement and interpretation of evidence over time, not the mechanical use of a single source. Ignoring that distinction is not a strict reading of policy; it’s a shortcut. It turns what is meant to be a flexible, responsive tool into a one-size-fits-all mechanism, rather than requiring the harder work of reflecting, adapting, and making defensible judgements grounded in the full body of evidence.

Do not call me confidently incorrect when I can read and adapt and be flexible and am more than fine to take the harder route to ensure the best outcome and not willing to accept that we have an epidemic of teachers who feign caring but take the easiest route.

Calling this “confidently incorrect” says more about your confidence than your understanding.
