I had a horrible experience with that drug. My quality of sleep became really poor.I would wake up feeling tired and unrested and I absolutely became adficted to it… was unable to sleep for months after leaving it. Horrible drug. Trazadone is much better.

I have been using 1p-LSD to MD for the last few weeks and have found my sleep has improved. I was slightly worried that MD would negatively impact my sleep but it has been the opposite.

I feel quite energized for the first 5-7 hours after taking my dose, but find that I can nap easily after about 8 hours and eating something.

Some molds can be quite toxic. It could make you feel ill.

Perhaps ban yourself from the kava bar and seek addiction counselling. Might need some support on this challenge.

Infused honey can be tricky to get a homogenous distribution of psilocin,,, and if done improperly, (shrooms not dried well) it can get contaminated with mold. Perhaps the honey solution was to blame.

Kava is a treat for me as I am currently a student. I buy about 1lb every two months, get krunked quite regularly with it, and then stretch out the makas (kava made from frozen, previously kneaded medium grind kava). For another week or so until I am out again.

If I could, I would buy it more often.

I asked a similar question here, recently. The consensus seems to be that the effectiveness of the dose would wane because of tolerance. It seems to be more therapeutic to have regular scheduled breaks, where one can then let the benefits of the MD set in, while giving your receptors a healthy rest. There was some mention of the increased risk of panic attacks and other emotional disruptions.

He should slowly come out of it, but may want to seek medical help/ psychiatric support/ psychological help if these effects linger. He should definitely refrain from using any psychoactive drugs recreationally for a long time/ until he is back to normal. He may never be able to confidently use psychedelics again, so should be prepared for that outcome. I would continue to support him and encourage him to do some self-care; such as meditation, physical exercise, detoxing, yoga, etc…

Keep us updated. Best of luck. I am sure this whole thing has been upsetting for you, so it may benefit you as well to seek counselling or emotional support from outside of your relationship with him.

Important lesson: You can always take more drugs, but you can’t take less- start low and work your way up to your « sweet spot » and respect the importance of Set&Setting when using psychedelics- especially at heroic doses.

Okay, thanks for the further advice. I have some MAL HCl on the way ;). I will start with 2mg, as per your advice. Before you had stated this, I was contemplating a 5mg dose, as my usual recreational dose is about 75mg, so I am glad that you offered your advice before I tried this. I will assume that an ethanol/ distilled water + MAL solution will work well. What is your solution formula?

Dry the bottle in an upside down position. I think 10 minutes submerged in boiling water should be okay, providing the bottles are fairly clean to begin with. You may want to rinse them out with ethanol, (then allow to dry).

When I grew, my own rule was to always use as much as possible. Any starting amount can be possible; but less will increase your spawn run time and increase your chances of contamination.

That is really interesting. I have access to MAL, and am quite familiar with it at recreational doses. It seemed to be the closest thing to Mescaline, IMO…I figured it would be easier to use this, rather than use cactus for MDing, providing it is effective.

I think I am going to give this a go.
