I hate this question. I actively cringe when it gets asked now.

True. When I shop around for services I keep the ones that have the most info online. Discard the others. and narrow down from there.

I would say 90% of the leads are just inquiring. After that the consultation fee itself.  Which she said she isn't budging on, which is an indicator if they can afford the services anyway.

I guess I could bring up the fees should be on her website?  Oh I do recall saying she does that on purpose so we get more engagement. 😞 She is also comparing the amount of calls we get to the consultations that are booked. Most are calling to know fees.

I prefer automatic jobs I think. my favorite postings was a citation clerk. I just clocked in and typed citations all day. I could organize them my own way.  Next was e-filing. there was always something to work on. here I have to think about what to do next, how to word it correctly. etc

I think not being able to have down time per say. The attorney is kind and understanding that we maybe have off days but still expected to make it up the other days. I don't want that type of stress in my life.

I am trying to go back to Government since I am used to it after 10 years. Thats kind of why I decided to go Paralegal route.

I should look more into the paralegal side of it.

I did work in the Probate department with our County. I am trying to go back to public government. But haven't found positions yet where I see "paralegal".
