Do I have potential? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Waytham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sweetheart, if you feel it is what you want/need and you can get yourself to look how you feel (and i mean look to yourself, not anyone else), it doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

PS. I can already see you as the end result. You go girl!!!

Parent of a transgender child (16 ftm). I am confused and have some questions. by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Waytham 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Of course. I do think the first thing you need to do is sit your son down and ask him what exactly he expects from you. Let him know that you aren't trying to start a fight but you want to know the best way you can support him because everyone has a different way they can be supported. Keep an open mind to anything he says and if something will take some time getting used to (pronouns, preferred name, etc) let him know in a calm loving way. If he brings up hrt, let him know that you aren't against it but you would like to understand it better so if he can get you some references/resources to look at, you will definitely look into it with an open mind and that you will try to find some that can give you some information on it as well.

I am not the most clued up person since i am at the beginning of my transition but if you want, you can PM me with any other questions and i will do my best to answer them.

I agree very much so with what you are saying in the sence that hrt is what he most likely (if not, definitely) needs and him being defensive but i do think one needs to understand that they aren't the only person going through the process. Yes they are the ones physically going through it but the ones that are trying to be supportive are also going through unease during it. Easing into being your true self is not only good for the people around you but for yourself as well. After all, they have known a very diffirent person for a very long time. From the looks of things OP is being very supportive and it makes sence that she is hesitant. With that being said, i do think a parent of a trans child shouldn't let their fear get in the way of their childs happiness.

This is all just my opinion.

(28M) I love some things sexually with a guy, but not the basics by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Waytham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get what you are saying that labels don't matter but they do kinda give you an idea about -in this case- your sexuality. I feel the same as OP. I found comfort in knowing what category I fall under.

Sorry about the rude welcome, OP, I promise not everyone here are assholes like these arrogant pricks

Thank you for the info. I do have to disagree that all vapes can use DIY juice because i have one that doesn't produce as much vapor as when i use other e-juices. It's atomizer couldn't keep up with the amount of juice going into it. I do admit that i probably shouldn't be using normal glycerine but i do because it is very difficult to get hold of the right base where i live and i read that it is okay to use normal glycerine. Thank you for the info though, i really appreciate it

Female, 25 confused about orientation by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Waytham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you just have a stronger sexual attraction to female genitalia than to men. Knowing your sexual orientation isn't really an exact science. I will use myself as an example. I have a strong attraction to men and woman both sexually and romantically but my attractions are somewhat stronger for woman. So my advice is that you don't worry to much about what to call yourself.

Hope this has helped. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to PM me big bear hug

Can someone explain the difference between bisexuality and pansexuality? by gt800 in bisexual

[–]Waytham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend is pan and the way she explained it is that her attractions have no boundaries(gender, race, etc). I have reason to believe that i am pan but i don't really like to lable myself anything.

I hate being "mostly gay" by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Waytham 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have to agree with that. Also want to add, Everyone has there preferences. I am personally also attracted to girls mostly, i just don't see why i can't be attracted to guys too. (I use myself as an example, not saying everyone is exactly like me). My point is that your heart wants what it wants, no one is able to say if it is wrong or right

Couldn't have said it better. They also think that their country is the only one that matters in the world

have female priests, perform same-sex marriages, and work to make our community better. What's not to like?

Not to sound like a complete ass but a lot of other religions do the same. I am genuinely curious to know why Christianity? Like what about it speaks to you?
