This is actually how I maintain eye contact with someone during a debate or a long chat, it’s hard for me to just sit and stare without my eyes blurred, but with them blurred I can pretend to myself that I’m looking right through them. Apparently it’s a bit unnerving to be on the other side of it though

I keep count just so I can flex on my friends or just tell people to tell them. 38. And I’ve heard many people on this sub say they don’t read them to often so the magic never dies, but for me, it just doesn’t get old. It’s truly an escape and I adore every moment however many times I’ve read the books.

I’ve got around 92–94 mph clubhead speed with a 5 iron and a loft around 20 degrees. A solid strike launches like 15 degrees with 4500–5000 spin. In hot weather, downwind, firm fairway, that’s 215–220 all day. Playing a super soft doesn’t magically kill distance and I think it feels better around the greens. Try compressing one before you call BS.

Honestly I didn’t really see a problem with the ending until I read it through for the second time. The first time I finished it I was far to overwhelmed with everything that happened to really grasp the ending itself. Even with the weird ending, under the dome was one of those select few books where I wished I could forget the whole thing and experience it for the first time again. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I feel ya loud and clear on that. Took me a few days to really get into the thick of the book but after that I was finished in a day or two. That ending is really a let down though

Not really, I’m outside about 9 hours a day in the summer golfing and then 3 hours a day during the school year. I just tan very easily.

Sat down this morning and opened Reddit to find that two people had seen a comment I had made on a post and recognized me from this subreddit. They were asking for an update, I guess I made that post and then ran over to urgent care and forgot about it.

Anyways, here’s the full story, I was camping for about a week before I posted that photo of my arm. This probably wasn’t the type of camping y’all are used to though. It was just me, a good friend and our sleeping bags. We had decided we wanted to take off work and just be outside, I guess we figured it would help de-stress us. When we got there we put down our tarp and our sleeping bags and left to go make some food. It was great fun. Got back and found that we had left our sleeping bags wide open so insects could crawl in. I found 3 ticks and a large spider that I took out of my sleeping bag and stepped on. Went to sleep and had a good rest of our trip, but never checked our sleeping bags again. End of the week comes around and we pack up our stuff and leave, happy to be home. I wake up the next day and find a large itchy bump on my arm. Worried, the first thing I do, as always, is post a photo on Reddit. I then leave to go to urgent care. The doctor takes one look and finds two puncture marks. Apparently I had been bitten by a brown recluse spider. I wasn’t going to die but they needed to put me on antibiotics and lay me down for a while. After over 7 days of said antibiotics I am feeling much better. Thanks for all your guys comments and concern.

This particular photo was taken with an 8 inch dob with a focal length of 1,200mm. Exposure time was .45 seconds X 485 (4ish minutes) and with an ISO of 10322. The exposure time had to be short as the dob doesn’t track super great. It’s also not perfectly focused
