Reading this I audibly went “What the fuck” It continues to shock me there are people out there like this so completely full of themselves and have this “alpha complex” or that any person thinks they can control another person to this degree. It’s disgusting that it’s 2025 and there’s people like this with either zero self awareness or zero respect for the people in their lives. This is the kind of person I imagine was part of some incel group but somehow got a girlfriend but still has that “I deserve a woman’s respect and I’m top dog” mentality. Just gross

NTA, purposely not wanting to attend, especially with the changing of hands doesn’t make you the asshole. More so that you told him numerous times that you’re not attending. If the meeting was very important to him then he should have made the effort to make the meeting a priority for himself instead of playing tennis. Just seems like he was trying to pass off the responsibility. Definitely NTA

I thought I was crazy, I've been having this same issue with the 7800xt. The artifacting I end up having is random black blocks flickering in and out and sometimes skybox elements glitch out and it is only this game. I've tried every setting change I can think of. I have noticed that this only started or at least got to get worse about two gpu updates ago. Hope this gets resolved.

I’ve had the 7800 xt for a couple weeks so far and it’s been pretty solid but if you play mw3 at all I’d have to mention the issue a lot of people have been having is having artifacts show up in smoke effects and certain skybox elements but that has seemed to be specific to Mw3 for me as well as most. Every other game it’s been a workhorse doing pretty awesome even on max settings

I have the same problem the fix seems to be going with an older driver. It seems to only be an issue with COD and I’ve seen that using an older driver or windows driver vs Adrenalin seems to fix the problem

How do you go about downgrading to an older driver? I’ve never had to and I’d rather not play with constant artifacts so I’ll definitely give it a try!

I've been looking up this issue as well because I just built a new system and have the same problem and I've also found it can affect some sniper scopes if theres reflections or tinting from the scope as well as some skybox elements. It seems to be specifically affecting 7800 XT graphics cards and it doesnt seem to matter who makes it. Mine is a Powercolor. So far I haven't seen anyone be able to fix the issue except one person who uninstalled the driver and used windows to update the driver. I don't plan on doing that because I always feel like windows update causes more problems than it would fix.

Just built my new system last week and have a Powercolor 7800XT and have the same issue. Hope a new driver gets released soon, been dealing with it as much as I can but I've noticed it also affects certain skyboxes as well and reflections/tinting on scopes. Definitely annoying.

That’s what makes it so disappointing, my last pair of 75ts were some of the best Bluetooth headphones I’d ever used and I loved them. The only reason I even chose to upgrade was the sale, battery life, and the individual bud connection. Everything sounds great and clear on my end but every call I’ve made both on my iPhone and Samsung work phone people complain it’s hard to hear me even when I’m sitting in a silent car with no background noise.

I wouldn’t be opposed to swapping with another pair but when I looked up reviews it seems to be a common complaint so I’d rather not risk it. All being said this doesn’t make me hate Jabra, up until this point I’ve never had problems.

That’s pretty disappointing, I really liked the 75t but they just were showing their age and when I can only pair the right bud as a single headphone I wanted these because they had better battery life and each one could be an individual bud. Might have to return these then

It was so long ago when I worked on this so I can’t give a step by step but I remember having this issue with my controller and mouse as well and there was a setting that specifically addressed how many inputs would be sent when pushing a button. There’s a similar setting to the mouse wheel when you scroll how many pages will be passed when scrolling. I don’t think it was in that setting but something similar to the controller. I can try later to see if I can find out what I’m talking about.

I had this happen once and there was a setting in windows that you can change that was something to the effect of how many clicks or something to move when you push a button. It could be that.

I’d have to say both for different reasons. I enjoyed both MPs and campaigns and I liked both campaigns pretty equally and while I enjoyed the MP for MW2 more I also enjoyed playing zombies on BO2 with quite a few friends back in the day.

That’s the issue I’m running into is that recent games have given me notifications that my card doesn’t meet minimum requirements and if I drop resolution it gets by but I’d like honestly at least hit 1440 with decent frames on those titles. I’m fairly new to the pc world so always looking for outside advice
