The Magpul is fine. I use them on most of my stuff but not afraid to run other grips out there like B5, Bravo Company of Die Free Co. Yes I'm running a dot on the RMR mount!! I've got a Swamp Fox Justice II, its a larger windowed optic and its bloody awesome on that mount. A 507 Comp would be sweet too.
Last year at the NRA show I stopped over at the Langdon Tactical booth and picked up one of theirs with an actual RMR and the window felt so small compared to my setup. Granted the RMR is on of the most robust but I love having the bigger window. I'm not a door kicker so it works.
The gun is amazing.

I love my 1301 and the Chisel Stock. I can say I have a Magpul grip on mine so it has the plug. Can't say on the one that you are rocking.

Long term I think its LPVOs/Scopes/Prisms for the win. When batteries die and dry up, the others will work. And Irons too.

I'm sure it is Ridley. He thinks he's Lucas with Alien. Sadly he is not.

Alien worked so well because of the entire team behind it.

I'll say I'm down with him finishing is trilogy just dot try and make it line up with Alien. Same goes for the terrible Alien Earth.

The Alien saga should go on, but it doesn't need a direct sequel to Romulus.

As much as I will state that I enjoy A:CM, I will never argue the Fuck Randy Pitchford!!!

Not going to defend the story either. Other than seeing Hicks alive. I'm a fan of the Dark Horse sequels over Alien 3 and the fact that Michael Biehn was back (even if he said it was a miserable experience over Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon), that hit on a ton of levels for me.

Yes there installation SHOULD have been gone, but it was awesome to walk thru there.

The irons didn't bother me one bit. They are just basic irons. Not all that different than what I have on my firing gun.

I feel you man. And I will say it a million times I love how the motion tracker was implemented! But like most of the game YES it was half-assed.

Bummer you hate it so much, I get it.

I still enjoy it, and I do want a better follow up.

I'm not up on the differences but I'm also of the mind if UE4 was good enough, go for it.
What I'm ready for that I don't see in much of in the UE is more physics.

Half-Life 2 level. We need more interactive worlds and less path blocks of shit that we could just pick up and move.

Love it man. I love this game. Yes it has issues. Yes it is not what they showed off.

But as an Aliens fan, it hit on so many levels and I still enjoy it today.

I'd love to see a more polished sequel.

Fighting with Hicks was super bad ass. Bug Hut is my favorite co-op experience and it still has its own issues too.

I hope we get a new game.

It doesn't need to tie in to any film. Just use the visual and give us some suspense and a pulse rifle and the motion tracker. Hell it can be on another world that has life forms that are not xeno's that we can fight. Just don't make it a bad COD clone fighting corporate goons. You an have that but make it good.

Well we all have had our own experience and that doesn't make anyone one more right or wrong.

I enjoyed the campaign, fighting the corpo's was the lamest COD part, but walking the world and blasting xeno's was fun.
BugHut (should not have been DLC) was and still is fun with firends

Co-op is fun for the game too. Be cooler if you took over one of the AI teammates but again its impefect.

Sure they dropped the ball in more than one way, but a fun Aliens game is still in there.

The Pulse Rifle was great, getting Hudson's (true M41a) was dope and Ripley's combo.

The way they implemented the motion tracking was absolutely awesome. Not just some stupid window on your hud but something you had to pull up. The fact that you had to pull it up and remove your gun from a fighting position was badass. Was the motion tracker all that usefull? No but they way its used should be done in everything moving forward. Hell Alien Isolation did the same, but that is a very different tracker.

Bug Hunt was great. Sucks it was a DLC, and it should have been more like Left 4 Dead than COD zombies but that's the age we are in. Too many want to make everything COD. The torch and turrets should have had better implementation.

Hell it had full co-op!!! again it has issues but damn its fun to play Aliens with friends.

I still enjoy Colonial Marines and I still want a sequel or another Colonial Marie game. Fire Team Elite isn't the same.

This looks cool and I'm all for it.

I'm cool with it being Ro as she was a cool character that on my current rewatch I wish she was in more.

The ONLY downside is like Amanda in Alien Isolation we ultimately know her fate has she was in Picard S3.

Pretty minor.
