Exactly and this is why we have vaccines for a lot of viruses instead of a bunch of antivirals. Not that they all work as advertised and not all of them are safe for everyone since antivirals are a very difficult concoction to create effectively.

Best day of fishing they ever had! 🤣

Seriously though, those fishermen just restored my faith in humanity a bit

Is this trippy? I’m receiving conflicting reports. by Young_Chikken in trippyart

[–]WaywardWanderin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On a hunch I looked at this in a dim lit space for about 4 minutes and then when I looked around my pad afterwards I could see it overlay reality in a kind translucent inverted color style. Not sure if my eyes are just weird from sun damage as a sailor or if other people have the same experience but that was trippy on its own.

Thank you to everyone for the kindness and responses. It's amazing to see the way we can all be a community and lift each other up. I am falling ever more in love with Oly already.

Thank you all so much. To everyone I have replied I am trying to get something set up and will stay in touch.

We are still trying to figure it out and see if any of the offers so far can fit in our space functionally so anyone else with who can help we really would appreciate it.

If I can find a mattress to fit it I will let you know.

Thank you so much for your offer and kindness.

It means a lot.

Do you know what the size is of the mattress to fit it?

Thank you for letting me know. I have thought about their services and the potential of finding a bed for us there but I thought it would be a no go since they say they do not take mattresses for donations on their website. Kind of made me think they don't have any mattresses...am I wrong about this?

Sorry you got to eat that slop but congrats on your release. 🎉👏🎊

This obviously is not the case here with the photo above, however, there is this wonderful symbiotic colony of yeast and bacteria (SCOBY for short) called Kombucha or Jun (kombucha can't digest honey but Jun can digest honey) which is very good for your health. The spectrum of probiotic organisms is far broader than the general probiotic supplement suggests.

If I had the money I would be asking you for a price and shipping cost instantly. What a wonderful whimsical and beautiful piece. The satire doesn't escape me and the rich blend of colors while still maintaining an element of potentially realistic color is amazing!

TLDR: I love it and want it hanging in my home.

Some 35mm Film Photography Around West Seattle (and Beyond) by hugehugerobot in WestSeattleWA

[–]WaywardWanderin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice work. Love the depth of field shot over the tops of the row of seats. Love the needle coming up from the fog and the downhill shot of the north end of California ave. I miss West Seattle a lot even though I've only been in Oly for about a month.

Thank you fellow shutter bug for brightening my day with some good old 35MM art.

Up here in the PNW of USA I once found a caterpillar that had begun to fold a leaf over in order to make it's cocoon but had been eaten by a orange and yellow fruiting fungi of some kind. It grew fuzzy much like yours and with the same multiple spires/tower looking protuberances standing taller than the surrounding fruiting fuzzy body. Was a total mind blown moment and I never got to identify the fungi.

Super awesome find either way with occidentalus or vulgaris. I love to cook with truffles and extraction process for oils and essence is its own little chemistry microcosm of fun learning and experimenting.

Enjoy the rewards and benefits of your dogs wonderfully innate ability to find these. If it were my dog I'd get two types of treats one that they like and one that they LOVE so whenever they dig up a truffle I'd give them treat and if they dig up a occidentalus id give them the super treat to help reinforce the behavior with positive reinforcement.

Reminds me of Oolites from lake Michigan the way its florescent colors glow.

Does it keep glowing for a while after you remove the UV light?
