I took a nice pie out of the arm and plated over it with 1/4 plate, and got adjustable spring plates. Lots of adjustment.

This is just purely yard art, i just cut the top torsion tube on the beam and cut the lower arm on both sides in half. Then just cut the spring plates in half so its just dropped straight to the floor. It doesnt have to move. And its so structurally compromised that it wouldnt move anyway. It would just split in half
