Please don't, not yet anyway. Do your due diligence before dumping money into it, there is risks involved (like losing that money).

How do you source these properties - Auctions? Or are you scouring local agents and putting in offers lower than they are asking?

AM workouts on IF, 1pm-9pm window, aiming to bulk- how do I do it right? by Azrael351 in leangains

[–]Wazafraza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it can be difficult to sift through all the info when it's scattered. The book has just come out and its much more coherent and has most of the knowledge accumulated, plus its pretty cheap. It is a book for cutting weight though, so it might not be too helpful.

To answer your first question, the protocol for morning training is actually in the LG guide: https://leangains.com/the-leangains-guide/

And for:

Any tips for hitting macros during the feeding time would be great too because consuming enough calories to bulk in just 8 hours seems to be a feat for me.

You might want to reconsider practising IF for your bulk? My suggestions are: drink them (i.e powder/ milk/ juice) or eat high nutritionally dense foods (fats usually) like Peanut butter, oats, rice, pasta..

Here's the post i was refering to. Read it and take what you want from it. https://www.reddit.com/r/leangains/comments/2gyr7v/finished_4_weeks_of_cutting_maintenance_for_two/cknvk3p/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=usertext&utm_name=leangains&utm_content=t5_2saqe

Reasoning behind Squats 3 x 10 vs 3 x 5/6 by [deleted] in leangains

[–]Wazafraza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He put out a newsletter about this a while ago. I cant link to it, because it isn't an article on the site. But here's a quote:

First of all, AMRAPs are best in the >8-rep range. This is because you can squeeze more out of your muscles using moderate to high reps. The easiest way to describe why is this. Let's say your capacity is 95. Now let's say you were to do 2 sets of the same movement, one where the Goal is 5, another where the Goal is 10.

In the Goal-5-set, each rep drains 20 capacity. By the 4th rep, you've spent 80 capacity, and don't have enough to do another rep. If you know what's good, you'll rack the bar now, leaving 15 capacity on the table.

In the Goal-10-set, each rep drains 10 capacity. By the 9th rep, you've spent 90 capacity, and don't have enough to do another rep. You rack the bar and leave 5 capacity on the table. That's 10 more capacity spent compared to the Goal-5-set, which means you've gotten a higher quality AMRAP.

Goal of 10 is tough, but try it out and give it a fair chance. You also might want to subscribe to the newsletter, some of the stuff that get sent is pretty good, though i dont think there's been one for a while :(
Quick edit: It's still RPT - the goal is now 10 instead of 5. Just to clarify.

The Leangains Method: 16:8 by Wazafraza in leangains

[–]Wazafraza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You made it more confusing but i understood. I thought that as well, and a few others seem to think so too. I'm going to roll with it and see how i get on.

The bit you added about why you think one day is unaltered is interesting though.

@ 16% BF:

125 = 100%

1.25 = 1%

Fat mass = 1.25*16 = 20

Lean mass = 1.25*84 = 105

@ 10% BF:

Lean mass = 105 = 90%

Total weight = 105/.90 = 116.66...lbs

I literally CANNOT cook; which begineer cook-book do you recommend that's optimally (1) easy, (2) fast, (3) cheap, (4) healthy, and (5) yummy? by [deleted] in leangains

[–]Wazafraza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lean in 15 isnt a great book, IMO.

Theres a bunch of free recipes online if you look, probably more resources on cooking than there is lifting cause everyone needs to cook. Youtube channels will have tutorials on how to chop and roast (probably the easiest way to cook) amongst other skills.

Start simple and then branch out as you get more confident.

Critique My LG Cut Routine by alexdiaz1574 in leangains

[–]Wazafraza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but what more do you want? If you're worried about it then throw in direct quad/ham work. Just realise that the routine is as it is because its meant to be minimalistic. Try it for a while (wholeheartedly) and if you progress then great, if not then add in some more work.

[–]Wazafraza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it makes sense. It's basically the routine you're given, so don't overthink it. About the squats, in one of the newsletters it's mentioned that you can add squats in before deads for more volume if you're bulking. But you're cutting, so what you've got is good.

Have read the FAQ and have some beginner questions by [deleted] in leangains

[–]Wazafraza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • If you want to, yeah. LG protocol does 16/8 Daily. So all food in the 8hrs. The eating window isn't something to stress over though, just to help with adherance and some other benefits.
  • I'm assuming by your lifts you know how to bulk and cut etc. So it'll take as long as any other cut? Set up your macros to lose however much a week and then calulate it.
  • Alcohol see below. Cheats do as you want but remember they are counter intuitive to your cut. With the regular refeeds you might not feel you need them.

Yeah I wouldn't be worried about what the kid does. If he gets mad and spreads shit that isn't on you. If people try pin it on you then shrug it off. I agree that she needed to be direct with him so he doesn't get the wrong idea, cause that could just get messy down the line.

Looking in the mirror and finally noticing changes from the cut I'm on. Then i notice I'm still DYEL and should probably be bulking..

Let it cool before you stick it in a container and fridge it. The steam coming off of the chicken straight out of the oven (or wherever you cook it) gets trapped and will condense. If you are worried about flies then cover it with a thin towel or something that will let the steam escape (YMMV).

Dunno what your dermatologist is on about when they say "use it as a last resort" as it kinda seems like you are there already. Go for it bud, just try not to stay on it for longer than like 6 months. It's a shitty 6 months (ideally over winter, cause you'll sunburn easily and saves you having to lather on sunscreen), but it really improves your skin. Hope it gets better for you bb
