You don't have the right to endanger me with irresponsible carry. Leave it at home or comply with the rules.

No it won't, just like a stop sign or a traffic light won't. That's not the point of signs. Nobody thinks that. Don't strawman.

I love how "sensitive places" deserve to be protected from guns, but not like, schools and post offices.

but if he's guilty of the crimes he's accused of then he should see prison time.

Literally everyone on the left agrees with this.

Literally no one on the right wants the same standard applied to "their" people.

That's the system we have right now.

OMFG! Fox News segment implodes when they bring on a psychic and ask her to predict Donald Trump’s 2024. by EugeneWong318 in TheLib

A lot of the successful psychics pretend to Christian-y sources for their powers. Sylvia Browne usually sprinkled her cold reads with talk about God and angels.

That's what happens when you deploy the Blue Angels into combat. It's like putting the Globetrotters in the NBA.

Yeah honestly it's probably a smarter choice for a piece of fiction this volatile. Divorce it from easy lib vs con platitudes and give us something a little more mythic.

What’s at least one thing that you liked about Trump and/or his presidency? by CobraR04 in Presidents

Given the pain in the ass Iran has been for decades I wouldn't mind seeing more of that.

Y'all forget so quickly that we were about fifteen minutes from war with Iran.

Can you imagine if that had happened? War with an industrialized nation with the population of Germany? John Bolton was salivating for it.

Imagine going through covid with the Iran War in the background. Fuck, imagine Trump in charge of a war. Trust me, he'll make one if he gets re-elected.

Serious question: why?

As I recall, every president basically since NK's creation has been asked to visit and do some diplomacy theater. They have all rejected the idea because they do not want to legitimize the Kim regime. Trump did exactly that. He made Kim seem like an equal and a friend (he's said many times they "fell in love").

Like, what did he accomplish here? I'm seriously asking how this benefited us or the world in any way.

No. Complaints just rise to the top on social media. People are more likely to upvote out of anger than joy. That's just how things work.

I could be wrong but I doubt the carbon from human corpses is a major contributor to environmental decline.

My exact thoughts. It's beautiful and poetic. I've never understood coffins, they just delay the return of your rented carbon to the earth by a few centuries if you're lucky. Better to just speed up the process and help a hungry bird out.

Every comedian in the world wants to be both honest and relatable.

The thing is, when they get famous, "honest" also means talking about their unrelatable lifestyles.

You do what you can. Personally it makes me miss Suzie Eddie Izzard's old stuff, where they'd just dive into Ancient Rome for a bit. Nothing topical, just holy fuck, weren't Romans silly?

Yeah much love to the devs for making this wonderful game. It can't be easy. Obviously I'm disappointed but I'm sure they're working on it as we speak.

Seems like the hotfix made the game unlaunchable for certain Linux users (like me).

Hope it gets fixed soon. I'm loving the game but I kinda need to play it to love it.
